the tri-state
nikka,... Puh-lease!!!
I notice you did not have any actual rebuttals for what I posted except for some girl necksnap bullshyt.
Also,...nobody gave nas a classic rating for hhid, or any of his other albums other than illmatic, legitimately.
As a matter of fact hhid and untitled are the biggest bait and switch marketed items in hip hop history.
Plus, the fukking mixtapes for both are way fukking better.
Which was always noted during its original release.
Before, you nas stabs try your let some time pass and apply your jigga revisionist attempts to fail at altering history.
While also,..biting Pac who disses the nikka and he cried about it.
Instead of actually serving him like, you supposed to.

Even stillmatic is not a classic and anyone who has it.
Who is not a stan can tell you that.
Not to mention it got five mics when the source was selling mics.
Like when labels were buying records and padding sales in the sales spike era.

So spare me,..your nas stan wannabe jayz revisionist theory app based knowledge.
Ol' jay stans lie and revise,...so, I can too,..face ass.

yOur stan based agenda to deflect and not discuss skills or culture.
Does not fool anyone who is really in the know, goofie.

You need to get your priorities straight.
Again,....
For the umpteenth time.
Till, you get on my level as a poster for real.
With no crews, and really have real people credit you.
Plus really Contributed to this culture and the business of rap like me for real.
With no payola, or bullshyt to sway the masses.
Then you can try and fail with this garbage ass angle you failed with when addressing me.

Art Barr

I notice you had no rebuttals for the blatant hate comments you posted regarding one of hiphops top MCs.

its funny my response is some neck snap sh!t when yours sounded like a long winded huff puff rant of feet stomping

so what nas cried over pac? pac called him the ringleader, who knows how he felt.

all you have over me is history and I acknowledge that; as far as being on "your" level, your def not on MY level. I dont "deal with emotions like b!tches".

only ngga I ever called out on this site are these fake nggaz, how is nas fake with "where are they now"? how is he fake with TJ swan drops?

stillmatic not classic? I agree. hiphopisdead was a classic to me; I have outgrown the white medias perception and rating critiques, so if your using those to pigeonhole the next man then your opinion pulls no weight.

analyzing nas mistakes or other is different then attacing his character. sometimes the things go hand in hand but to say he was "lucky" to meet large professor is akin to you being "lucky" you met juice.

meanwhile on that level you don't have one accomplishment near the level of nasir jones. stop trying to intertwine your own personal history into the convo because your laundry list means nothing in the context.

me and you had this debate already on sohh like seven years or so ago over it was written when I called it a classic.

if my agenda is stan based how is yours not hate based? meanwhile I'm from Queens and I can't remember nas not holding my boro down lyrically. so pump the breaks with that jayz stan goofie revisionist b.s.

nas is more of a bboy than you because of what I said about rocksteady. and since I acknowledge that then it makes me more of a bboy than you.

critical perceptions clouded by your own contributions to the culture aren't fallback material. I laugh at you also being an undercover camron/dipset stan because throughout the years I only have seen you praise cam and never critique him

in those threads you are noticably absent. yet here you are in a nas thread hating on him like a scorned woman. the only thing more classic than distant relatives is seeing there show live. now that was a classic.

This is the (self-proclaimed) "MOST PROLIFIC PERSON POSTING ON THE PLANET"? :snoop::pacspit:

Learn to make some coherent sentences, breh... :beli:

And than go back to listening to Co Flow's Funcrusher Plus (you know you have it)

i notice this is your attempt to deflect and not discuss any of the content i posted as well.

also,.....
i am not self proclaimed.
i am only stating and encapsulating the praise i have been given.
something you will never garner.
now, stfu......

you mean the top sellout in the history of the new school way of thought.
that i notice you never talked about any of the sellout shyt nas has done.
you are nuffin more than a deflection based stan.

all because nas destroyed the high level skills requirement.
that was protected by the people who helped make it so he could get a deal.
all of those artist, made it so skill would be recognized, in the entire industry of rap.
when rap was challenged supremely from a sales based medium.
by emcee hammer and vanilla ice.
of which the guy who signed him, for starters were vehemently against.
what did nas do.
he put it back, where it was almost ushered into the realm it dwells in now.

the reason why it dwells in the cauldron of hell it dwells in now,..
is because nas gave away and sold out the rubrick of the skill emcee.
for sellout pop jiggy bullshyt....
on a level no other jiggy rapper in the history of rap has done.

i notice you ignore the facts and signs from the one love remix twelve inch.
which you probably never owned or heard in its original sales release envelope.
you ignore, the use of the whodini instrumental and him embracing trying to quantify kurtis blow.
two of the worst sellouts in the history of the old school way of thought.
that contributed to why the new school way of thought was needed and ushered in.
to fully squelch that sellout bullshyt from popping.
i guess we will ignore getting jiggy with it to hate me now.
or i guess you will skim over that.
while, trying to diss my connection to juice.
the same artist juice who wrote will smith's highest skilled cultural submission.
that ushered in the smooth grown man vocals, drawing era of will smith.
from offkey adolescent vocal tonality of his previous work.
that work juice penned was summertime.
the work nas ultimately penned and helped destroy hiphop being connected and governed by its cultural protection mechanism are featured on big willie style.

i notice,..you skipped over discussing that while trying to deflect on to my actual real non-sellout based cultural connection and legacy.

nas made it so,....skilled emcees who drew and charted as high as number one on college radio bds and soundscan.
were not considered and passed over, for bullshyt lower level skilled artist.
of which nas subscribed to readily, on trash like you owe.
so kill the bullshyt.
there is no way culturally you can try to demean my draw in this culture and business of rap.
nas is a sellout, period.
accept the facts, of which you will not do...
as you try to get over your nazi style agenda to hurt rap and the culture of hiphop.
how dare you and you are from queens as well.

you are nowhere near a bboy of my esteem.
if you were you would have drawn at the top of the underground in a grassroots manner.
you would be the protege to the legend and the city heir of your respective borough.
of which you are not, at all.

so kill the noise.....
you are a stan and you have ducked every fact that has been posted.
to try a personal attack and failed...just like you did seven years ago.
when nikkaz was defying iww was a classic.
that you in your never ending stan filled agenda.
try to get re-appraised using jigga stan revisionist theories.
to have re-rated,..while real nikkaz like me are not going.
plus, you will always fail because the facts and skills are present to defeat your revisionist theories and agenda...
now, stfu...deal with the fukking facts, and not your propaganda stan based agenda.
which failed....

Ok, Art Barr.

First off. You always mention Nas as one of the greats. So you know he gets busy.
Nas has been off key since his verse on ‘Eye for an Eye‘. (the way he says ‘New York Metropolis‘ ).Thats his trademark. Thats why there are no real Nas Clones. The way he goes off -beat/rhythm has always been his thing.

The only song where ‘this‘ style ruined the track was on the bonus ‘Ancient People‘

It really worked on Leaders though and it fit the vibe of that joint perfectly.

I'm not saying DR is a classic. But your OD hatred is reaching troll levels right now.

you can not dispute a fact.
you can try and will always fail.

the facts exist and you nas stans continually try to use jay's revisionist theories.
to try to make an arguement to deflect away from the damage nas single-handidly did to the culture and the industry of rap.
trolls do not use facts,...
trolls use errant unproven opinions.
i have stated the facts.
you are the troll,...trying desperately to deflect your troll based agenda on people who speak the facts.

that is what trolls do...defy facts and sound reason, for a bullshyt agenda.
that is what you are doing,..not me.

i can not help if you favorite fukking rapper sold out.
i have had numerous favorite fukking rappers who sold out.
you will never see me, ignore their faking jax and not talk about their penchant and history of selling out.

nas stans, using jay theories continually ignore and deflect away from the facts of nas selling out.
then, try to falsely qualify nas for a position.
nas has never earned and soldout to disqualify him from the titles you would like to bestow upon him.

also,..nas still does not rap better than the real goat.
not to mention,..if krs made an album with the marley's
you would get a real roots reggae cultural relevent submission..
that easily eclipses nas on dr.

shyt...on collab albums,...krs really made classic verse submissions every take on ss.

something nas was to offbeat, and out of his element skillwise to do on dr.

anyone who knows emcee'n and is real can readily hear nas being offbeat, to offkey.
plus stuffing to many syllables a bar into a sonic soundscape that does not match.
that destroys his clarity and makes any content he drops moot and unlistenable.

i notice you nikkaz, never talk about or address that.
then, want to try to demean the person who notices it and continually brings up the facts about nas's skill on that album.
you are not going to change history through revision.
like the us government, attempts to do.
this is hiphop...knowledge reigns supreme...

lol :whew: the hate was strong. that was stronger than ya jay-z/joe button breakdowns.

my ngga get a grip and realize actual history of how nas layed the mold down and upheld hiphop. it was written would've been that dream record you wanted but apparently marley was too excited to lock down tracks.

hiphop is dead was a classic, he went over your head heavily with that record the cd theme as a whole was genius. jayz? snoop? kanye? game? damn.

nas didn't know organized konfusion because he was busy living his life. I thought that was crazy too but my ngga by the 90s he was already industry patenting. everyone can't have checked everyone. also that ain't LPs cousin its pete rocks cousin.

at least get your haterade some ice first. nas wasn't lucky to meet large pro. it was called fate, like your response is called hate.

mind you how is nas a culture thief when he ain't never had quotes or rhymes like the real thieves like jayz (I'm an 80s baby) and joe (I never heard a mixtape till 99). that's real sellout glory.

fix ya priorities my ngga because you aren't a real bboy if you hating on the only ngga who has brought rocksteady crew out to main stage venues in NYC in the last 7 years.

your post is disgusting and you should table yourself for these atrocious paragraphs

you don't like dstant relatives? cool cuz I don't get upset. but this other talk can only be defined by hate.

get at me so I can dismantle more of your so called facts. lol @ matty C. nas probably is still like who? meanwhile me and u kno he a legend but that don't define nas, your insane.

nikka,..

you are a toy from queens..
not to mention,...
you did not even correct my typo of paul c.
nor do you even know who organized is, and you are from fukking queens of all places.
let alone, you do not even know the historical siginificance that paul c brought to the game as well.
you are nuffin more than a jiggy based stan.
trying to falsely qualify your sellout based agenda to fit into a culture.
you really do not care about.
as your lack of knowledge and troll jay revision based agenda easily expose as well.
keep deflecting away from the facts...
facts never disappear,.....
only people who have agendas, built on destruction try to shield away from the facts.
you are a narcissist and a deflection artist of the highest culture stealing esteem.
that is easily recognizeable.

Was gonna create my own thread until I saw this...

Threw this joint on the other day and was amazed how fresh it sounds. Kept banging "Nah Mean" over and over. :whew:

This has all the ingredients for a classic: Great beats, lyrics, content, creativity, little/no skippables etc.

Definitely a classic or will be in the future.
