20. Cristian Fernandez

Cristian Fernandez, a 13-year-old Florida boy, was the youngest person ever charged with first-degree murder in Jacksonville history. Fernandez was charged in 2011 for beating his two-and-a-half-year-old brother to death and sexually abusing his five-year-old half brother.

19. Lowell Lee Andrews

In Wolcott, Kan., 22-year-old Lowell Lee Andrews was known as a good kid. Nov. 28, 1958, Andrews decided to shave, put on a suit and kill his entire family. He shot his sister, his mother six times and his father 17 times. Speaking about the crimes, he said, “I didn’t feel anything about it. The time came, and I was doing what I had to do. That's all there was to it." He was hanged in November 1960.

18. Brian Blackwell

In England, 18-year-old Brian Blackwell built up an illusion that he was rich to impress his peers. To maintain his image, he took out numerous credit cards and loans in his father’s name. When confronted by his parents, he decided to beat them with a claw hammer before stabbing them to death. Right after the murders, Blackwell took his girlfriend on a lavish vacation to NYC and Barbados. After confessing, he was sentenced to life in prison.

17. David Brom

Sixteen-year-old David Brom appeared to be a normal teenager growing up in Rochester, Minn. Up until Feb. 18, 1988, the night he killed his family, Brom showed no psychotic tendencies. Brom’s parents, 14-year-old sister and nine-year-old brother, were all bludgeoned to death with an axe. Brom attended school the next day as if nothing happened and bragged about the murders to a classmate. He is now serving life in prison.

16. Seth Privacky

November 1988, in a quiet town in Michigan, 18-year-old Seth Privacky, using his father’s .22-caliber Ruger, systematically shot his entire family and girlfriend, who showed up unannounced and witnessed the murders. The rampage was set off because his father threatened to throw him out and the rest of the family failed to stick up for him. He was sentenced to life in prison, but on July, 2010, was fatally shot to death during a failed escape.

15. Jasmine Richardson

In Canada, April 23, 2006, 12-year-old Jasmine Richardson was convinced by her 23-year-old pedophile boyfriend to murder both of her parents. Both parents were stabbed so many times that the father had almost no blood left in his body. Making matters worse, her eight-year-old brother was found dead upstairs with his throat cut. Jasmine was charged with first-degree murder but is serving her time in a psychiatric hospital.

14. Daniel Bartlam

in the UK, 14-year-old Daniel Bartlam murdered his own mother. After his parents’ divorce, his behavior became increasingly disturbing. On Easter Sunday 2011, he decided to act on his thoughts, killing his mother by smashing her head in with a claw hammer. Trying to cover up his crime, he threw paper and gasoline on her, lighting her on fire. He is currently serving a life sentence.

In 1989, 21-year-old and 18-year-old brothers, Lyle and Erik Menendez, used a 12-gauge shotgun to murder their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez. The brothers were convicted and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

In St. John, Mo., July 4, 1990, then 18-year-old Stacey Lannert shot and killed her father, Tom Lannert, while he was asleep in the home. Lannert claimed that her father had sexually abused her since she was eight years old. She was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.

11. Larry Swartz

In 1984, in a suburb of Cape St. Clair, Md., 17-year-old Larry Swartz murdered both of his adoptive parents. Swartz stabbed his father to death with a steak knife and bludgeoned his mother with a wood-splitting maul. The case drew much attention, resulting in a best-selling book “Sudden Fury” and a TV movie starring Neil Patrick Harris as Larry.

10. Sarah Johnson

Sept. 2, 2003, 16-year-old Sarah Johnson shot and killed her parents with a high-powered rifle because they did not approve of her 19-year-old boyfriend. Johnson ran out of her home screaming for help, claiming her parents had just been murdered. When police arrived, they found her mother dead from a gunshot blast and her father dead from a gunshot wound to the chest. Johnson was found guilty on two counts of murder in the first-degree.

9. Edmund Kemper

In California, 1964, 15-year-old Edmund Kemper shot and killed both of his grandparents. He says he had wanted to do it for a while and had no regrets. He was held in juvenile hall and put through intensive testing. He was released five years later and went on to murder and dismember eight women over the next five years. Even as he was carrying parts of his victims around, a panel of psychiatrists labeled him no threat to society.

8. Jesse Pomeroy

In 1874, Jesse Pomeroy was arrested for the cold-blooded murder of a four-year-old boy. In previous years, Pomeroy spent time tormenting other children. He was first arrested for sexual torture and molestation of seven other boys when he was only 11. After that, he murdered a 10-year-old girl, mutilating her body. He was sentenced to 40 years of solitary confinement.

In 1998, 14-year-old Joshua Phillips’ eight-year-old neighbor went missing. Seven days later, Phillips’ mom noticed a horrible odor coming from his room. She found the missing girl under the bed, brutally beaten to death. Phillips claimed it was an accident. However, this didn’t explain why he stabbed her 11 times and hid her body under his bed. A Florida jury convicted him of first-degree murder.

The 14-year-old student accused of raping, robbing and murdering his high school math teacher used a tree branch to sexually assault her and left a hate note next to her body, it has been revealed.
Philip Chism left a folded piece of paper with the words 'I hate you all' next to the corpse of Colleen Ritzer after he slit her throat in a bathroom and left her body in a 'sexually staged' position at Danvers High School in Massachusetts, according to court court papers.
He wore gloves and a mask as he followed Ritzer into a second-floor bathroom after the argument armed with a box cutter.
He raped her, slit her throat with the box cutter, wheeled her body outside in a large recycling bin and dumped it in the woods behind the school.Her body was found naked from the waist down with the three foot branch still inside her corpse, which was covered in leaves. HR Bra was pulled down and her top pulled up.


5. Cindy Collier and Shirley Wolf

Fifteen-year-old Cindy Collier and 14-year-old Shirley Wolf went from petty theft and vandalism to a whole other level. While looking for a target, they knocked on the door of an elderly woman who let them in. The girls turned violent, as Wolf grabbed the woman by the neck while Collier grabbed a knife and gave it to Wolf. Wolf proceeded to stab the woman 28 times. They confessed to the crime, calling it a “kick” and they'd love to do it again.

4. Alyssa Bustamante

In Missouri, 15-year-old Alyssa Bustamante brutally murdered nine-year-old Elizabeth Olten in 2009. Prior to the killing, Bustamante fantasized about killing her two brothers. The young girl murdered by Bustamante was walking home when she took a path through the woods, passing two unmarked graves Bustamante had dug. Bustamante strangled her, beat her and finally slit her throat. She said she did it because "she wanted to know what it felt like."

3. Eric Smith

In Steuben County, N.Y., 13-year-old Eric Smith murdered, sexually abused and mutilated a four-year-old boy, Derrick Robie. Smith lured Robie to a park, where he strangled him and crushed his head with two large rocks. He proceeded to undress and sodomize Robie with a tree branch. Smith was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to the maximum term for juveniles of nine years to life.

2. John Venables and Robert Thompson

Ten-year-olds John Venables and Robert Thompson lured two-year-old James Bulger away from his mother. They took him to a secluded area in Liverpool and proceeded to throw paint in his eyes, strike him with bricks, smash him with an iron bar and stuff batteries into his mouth. After the fatal beating, they laid the boy across the train tracks, hoping an oncoming train would cut him in half. They were put in custody until 18 and were then released.

In the UK, Mary Bell suffered from an early age, born to a prostitute mother who pimped her out when she was four years old and also tried to kill her multiple times. At 11, Mary was found guilty of strangling a four-year-old boy to death and later a three-year-old boy. She dismembered the second boy’s genitals and carved an M into his stomach. She was deemed psychotic and placed in government care. Twelve years later, she was released.

A 13-year-old killed his own mother after a failed attempt to rape her in a row over a ban on the Call of Duty video game, a US court heard.
The jury in the murder trial of Noah Crooks heard a disturbing 911 call during which the teenage accused, from Iowa, can be heard pouring his heart out about the killing.
Crooks, now 14 , has been charged with first-degree murder and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse on March 24, 2012.
The victim was his 37-year-old mother, Gretchen Crooks, who had taken away his “Call of Duty” video game because he got bad grades in school, it was said.
The court heard Crooks admit that it was because of the game being taken away that he snapped.
In the 911 recording made on the night of the murder at the family's home in Osage, Iowa, Crooks can be heard telling the operator: “I’m not joking at all. She’s dead. I’m scared. I killed my mom with my .22. I don’t know why I did it.”
Police responding to the call found the woman shot multiple times, according to Mitchell County Sheriff's Office.
During the conversation, which lasted about 10 minutes, the boy repeated his confession several times The Global Gazette reported.
Crooks said: “I feel crazy and I know I'm not. I think I have some form of ADD.
“I tried to rape her. I tried to rape her but I couldn't do it.
“Who tries to rape their own mom? My life is down the drain now.”
He went on to say: “I just wish it was a dream so I could wake up and I could kiss her and hug her.”
Noah rambled on about his mother making him homemade doughnuts earlier that night and expressed disbelief that he killed her after she did that for him.
He then revealed that his mother had taken away his Call of Duty video game because he got bad grades in school, and that is when he snapped.
He told the 911 operator: “Something just came over me.”

The boy then spoke about having to move away and giving up on his dreams of getting into a good college and marrying his eighth-grade girlfriend.
On the first day of Crooks' trial on Wednesday, jurors also heard testimony from Mitchell County Sheriff’s Deputies Jeff Huftalin and Greg Halbach, who described the crime scene, WCF Courier reported.
Gretchen’s bullet-riddled body was found stretched out on a coach.
Her pyjama top was undone and she was naked from the waist down, Halbach said in court.
The woman was not breathing.
The deputies seized the murder weapon, a .22 caliber rifle, which was lying across a chair in the dining room.
Halbach said that he slapped handcuffs on Noah's wrists and placed him in the patrol car.
He added that the teenage suspect was not crying and did not appear emotional.
Noah Crooks' attorney is not denying that his client killed his mother, but he claims that the boy suffered what he referred to as a “tumour of rage”, rendering him insane at the time of the slaying.
Addressing the jury panel, the lawyer said that a child psychiatrist will testify that Crooks suffers from intermittent explosive disorder - a mental illness marked by repeated episodes of impulsive, aggressive or violent behaviour.
Gretchen, who was listed with her husband William Crooks as the owners of the home where she was killed, had worked as a nurse at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa while also studying toward her master's degree after accepted at the University of Iowa in 2009.
On her Facebook page back in 2010, she praised her son, one of two sons according to Mrs Brahm, for his musical talents on the saxophone as well as his accomplishment in being accepted into a University of Iowa camp to learn Chinese.
“So proud of him!” she wrote.
She had also recently published an application on her page reading: “Click "like" if you love your son!”
Her death comes as the first reported murder in the city of Osage since 1898, according to KAAL-TV.
