I always believe 2 things about canibus:

1- he won that battle and the only reason why people say LL won the battle was because he had the commercial backing. End of story.

2- Wyclef fukked up Bis’ whole career. If he had premier or somebody of better stature executive producing that first album he woulda been crowned. There was a buzz of anticipation for that first album and he dropped the ball so fukking hard that people just stop checking for him.

MC was definitely a nice surprise after the disaster that was C! THS, but RtJ was the perfect blend of lyrics and beats plus those EPs leading up to RtJ were nice too
