This is when NY went into full hardcore phase....the era of Kid n Play and Chubb Rock was now over. NY would now go thru a grimey era and these 4 guys were the ones to set things off.

I used to argue nikkas down about this being better than Chronic at the time. On retrospect Chronic has way better production but the bars are trash. I can still listen to Onyx, especially Sticky, for bars.
