I am with you. I would rather go down with bad pitching then trade Stroman. Who knows if my mind will change in a couple weeks. But after watching Stro the past two starts, combined with the puff piece I read on him in the sportsnet mag(LINK ) I am about to hop on the stroman is legit train..

Breh, the Jays are back. I am not saying we will win the AL East, but we are making the playoffs this year.
Hit into a bases loaded triple play with ur best player and strand the bases loaded, I think two other times but still win. Last year that's a loss. The 11 game win streak last year had us all believing but it still didn't work out. fukk Arencibia, and 2b killed the team too.
Hutchinson is a definite keeper. Seeing dumb American reporters saying Jays need to move him for an ace is how you know they don't follow the Jays. Team has been in need of another starter, not an upgrade on a good one.
If Stroman stays strong until the deadline, Jays won't even make a deal. Maybe if Happ falters (been really surprised by him this year). McGowan has been solid in the bullpen too. Really helps with Delabar struggling this year.

im just happy the jays realized goins is the worst hitter in mlb history and ended that quick, should have odne it last year early with jp.
the jays dont need a ace, but like a 3rd or 4th guy.
Jays got some prospects putting in work too. Most of their best prospects are pretty young though.Daniel Norris struggled to start his pro career but last I saw had an era under 1.00 this season, and looks like a future top of the rotation type starter . Deck Mcguire seemed like a bust last year but has turned it around, maybe even gets a callup at some point?
