Stroman is so fun to watch pitch. It is pretty crazy how solid dude has been. I can't believe the Jays are still in race, with all the injuries. Of course Rogers is going to cheap out tho. Meanwhile my cable/internet bill is ridiculous..

Rogers spent all their money buying Nhl rights and now their subscribers for their last quarter are down.
While other teams get these billion dollar TV deals Rogers owns the jays and that stiffens that gwap.

I agree with what you said about Rogers being cheap and screwing up this team's chances. But you can't keep praising Stroman and then say trade some prospects who won't amount to anything. It's great that we didn't trade Stroman, when teams were asking for him. Bench has been fixed with some nice low key signings and moves, just need another bullpen arm. Shouldn't cost a top prospect.
I wouldn't trade Sanchez, Hutch or Norris. Unless it's for an ace that is under contract for a while. Lester would just leave at the end of the year. Price at least has another year.

Jays got no stud prospect hitters. None that will get a top of the rotation starter. Pompey might have the most value and he would be a secondary/third prospect in a big deal.
- I can live with them not resigning Rasmus, even if CF is a blackhole offensively next year. But they need to bring Melky back, or just sell the team.
