It's great but they did win 11 straight last year. Jays got pick 9 and 11 in the upcoming draft, they can afford to move a prospect for some pitching help.

We really shoulda went hard for ervin santana esp since he signed else where for only 1 year contract...but AA reacted to slow to get the deal done.

Not sold on him for that price. For Stroman & Sanchez, Jays should get a more proven pitcher with a better track record.

I don't know how but Happ is starting to look decent. Jays could just get a #3 type pitcher to fill out the rotation for this season. Ace is needed for a chance at a deep playoff run, but who is available? Price is but will Tampa trade within division? And I don't wanna trade with Tampa, they'll rip the Jays off.
