Rock's promos were straight comedy. He always had a group of fans who liked him even though he was a heel.

On the hand, people really hated HHH and for me thats what a heel is supposed to do.

AE Triple H is my favorite heel...of all time. I was a huge mark for him back then. Nobody could tell me shyt about him lol. He's definitely had his flabby and sick periods since, and the smarks/IWC have just run away with this overblown hatred (not saying it shouldn't exist, but everyone and their mom thinks they're experts on this guy and backstage happenings to the point of ridiculousness), but I don't think he's EVER been a bad heel.

Triple H as a heel in the role of nu-Vince vs. whoever the top face is at the time has money written ALL over it in the future.
