My favorite WWE year :wow:

Trips cementing himself as a main event heel
Rock showing they don't even need Austin as the top face
The rise of Kurt Angle
The return of Undertaker (and his poor man's Stone Cold promos)
Hardys vs. Dudleys vs. Edge and Christian with Too Cool and APA in a competitive tag division
Career resurgence from Rikishi
Benoit vs. Jericho
Crash Holly's 24/7 Hardcore title run
...and more

It's amazing how good 2000 was in comparison to the garbage that was 1999

Chris Kreski :blessed:

1999 Garbage? May not have had the best matches but the show, storylines, and culture were poppin:ufdup:

My favorite year too. Not to make this about race but I'm pretty sure every black kid that watched wrestling that year practically worshiped Dwayne (at least I did).

Losing Austin and Undertaker was actually a blessing in disguise looking back. I'm sure Vince was nervous about having to headline two straight PPVs with Foley though.
