2000s-
PG- Jason Kidd/Gary Payton
SG- Kobe/Ray Allen
SF- Paul Pierce/Artest
PF- Garnett/Duncan/Dirk/Rasheed Wallace
C-Shaq/Yao

I'm torn between sheed and iverson getting that 12th man spot.

theres really no need for AI on a team like that
:aicmon:

Considering what all of the players on your list did DURING the 2000s, there's no way you don't have Allen Iverson on an All-2000 team. I know you're a Detroit fan, but LOL @ seriously considering Rasheed Wallace on a team over Allen Iverson, not even to mention Ray Allen, Gary Payton, and Ron Artest.

tried not to duplicate anyone from the 2000s list.

left Anthony Davis off, although by the end of the decade he will be on the team.

2010s

PGs CP3/Westbrook/Parker
SGs Wade/Harden/Curry
SFs Lebron/Durant/Carmelo
PFs Griffin/Alridge/Bosh
Cs Howard/Gasol/Tyson

Edit: just thinking about it, the 2010 team gets hot from 3 and it might be a wrap

Shaq going for 40+ every game on this team :heh:

Allen Iverson got an MVP yes but Rasheed Wallace was a conference finals main stay, went to 2 nba finals and won 1...a lot better than iverson.

The fact that the 2000s team has Shaq gives them an incredible advantage. I'm not even 100% sure who I'd have on the All-2010s team, nor what the criteria would be, but...

PG - Chris Paul/Russell Westbrook/Stephen Curry
SG - Dwyane Wade/James Harden
SF - LeBron James/Kevin Durant/Carmelo Anthony
PF - Anthony Davis/Blake Griffin/LaMarcus Aldridge
C - Dwight Howard

I'm pretty sure I'm missing someone obvious from this list.

:stopitslime:

Rasheed Wallace played on a TEAM that did very well, and he wasn't even the consistently best player on that team. Why don't we throw Chauncey Billups and Ben Wallace onto the All-2000s team while we're at it?

i'm including what sheed did on the blazers and how he made the difference on the pistons. This is by no means bias...if you disagree ok but don't front like he's will purdue or someone

I'd sub Rose for Harden and AD for Blake....in year 3 he already wayyyyy better than Blake.

2010 team's only hope against that 2000 line up is if Stephen Curry goes off.

Even then Payton/Kidd/Iverson probably would harass him on defense and Iverson especially score on him.

Shaq didn't average 40 vs regular players, he's supposed to average 40 vs All NBA talent while also sharing the ball with Kobe and AI :heh: cut out the hyperbole :camby:

Yao averaged like 24 vs Dwight Howard who averaged 12 (:laff:) vs Yao Ming, Dwight Howard the best defensive center you just listed.. why would prime 2000 shaq not be able to drop 40 ? :heh: Shaq would bully any of those centers all game.

Dwight Howard, while big in todays league, wouldnt even be a center just 10-15 years earlier..

actually the 2000s team should have both Wade and Lebron on them. they both came into the league in 2003 and were all stars and all nba almost every year

Don't front like Allen Iverson isn't a clear first ballot Hall of Famer. Rasheed was a very good player, but he was never great, and was basically a lower level All Star throughout the 2000s. It's not that I'm saying Rasheed is not a good player, I'm saying he's not in the same conversation as Allen Iverson. I also mentioned Ron Artest and Ray Allen in that same post.

Stop it. Shaq is not averaging any 40 fukking points per game. It's not as though he was going up against Dikembe Mutombo every game, there were a lot of Todd Maccullochs, Shawn Bradleys, and Raef LaFrentzes he was putting up numbers against as well.
