say what you want about the mid-00s, but they were a fun time.

how i view it? the same way i did back then. hit-or-miss. there was some great stuff, but for every great thing that happeneed, there were 2 wack occurrences messin up the program.

oh, and this is when the mixtapes took over.

Had some very classic moments and albums.. and it had its very low points as well, D4L opened up the flood gates of 1 hit wonders from *** ***** who would come out with a silly dance

you posted the '08 cast or something.

but yea, this was the year that the original show came out. the show was great the 1st few seasons. the 1st season being my favorite. they had soulja slm on there, like right before he died(the show aired afterwards). and they showed the chubby bul filming his role in a kane & abel movie. man they repped louisianna well.

and niccas was thurl. i remember they had a road trip, and on the way there, them niccas rapped along to the whole "e.99 eternal" tape. niccas could relate to that chit. and the show was positive and most of it was about school and made me think about transferring to an hbcu.

it was apart of the regular regime for us to watch that 1st season of college hill & chapelle that winter. either we'd be at my homeboy crib, watching those shows after shooting pool. or we'd be at my home-girl crib watching it & bussin a grub.

the bul jabari used to have everybody crackin up. he shouldve had his own show. HES THE COLLEGE HILL GOAT. that un-intentional comedy.

I MISS MY HOMIES. I HAVE TO HANG WITH THEM ALL SEPERATELY NOW. MAN I SHOULDNT HAVE MADE THIS THREAD.
