Thats a little cheap for an 04 Maxima which wasn't a great model year for the car, and the miles are a little high. Keep looking.

Also look into an accord or camry. Low maintenance and any roadside mechanic knows how to work on them.

This. i remember i missed getting a 95 accord back in 05 by about 20 minutes. bytch was all black fully loaded and i was gon get it for 1800 :mjcry: if i woulda got it i woulda kept it forever. :mjcry:

Getting my nephew (about to turn 18) on the 29th. Didn't want to spend no more than 4k for a car.
Just needs to last him through this year and his first year of college next year. The Maxima has 130k miles on it. Is this a good deal or does it probably have issues. Probably gonna go test drive it Friday.
Tell your nephew to walk around because that's what I did.

Just kidding. Really, you can't tell without test driving it. Listening to the engine and feel of the car. Operate every single door, window, lock, trunk, hood, mirror, A/C, heat, glove compartment, anything that moves. You want to know it works or doesn't fall off. If something is funny in the test drive, you might not even want to put an offer on the car. :camby: If it is something you know is fixable and cheap, then you can offer something lower than the price.
