IMO the GLK looks 10x better and less housewifey. I would assume prices are similar

That looks more like a soccer mom car than the GL.

If it was good enough to Stringer Bell it's good enough for me

You can't be serious!

:mindblown:

look at both cars side by side it's not even close which one looks sharper and modern.

Look at the vehicle proportions and surface transitions, the GLK has a low hoodline and sweeps up from the A-pillar to the back. It's razor sharp compared to the unoffensively soft lines of the ML, which mimics the standard bubble silhouette of the ubiquitous small SUV.

GLK is a small SUV, basically, you are buying an overpriced Toyota Rav-4.
It's not your soccer mom looking vehicle, but 'm not impressed by its looks.

Shut up, you're not even addressing the merits of my statement.

This is what you said IMO the GLK looks 10x better and less housewifey
That's your opinion. I don' tlike the GLK as much as the older ML. That's my opinion.
Less housewifey? That's an opinion too.
What kind of merits do your statements really have? They are all subjective.

I probably won't get it. The repair costs associated with euros is just not with it. I like the Infiniti FX model but the problem with that is the new body style has been ass for a minute. I only like the 03-05 body style. But I can never buy a car more than 10 years old. I can always cop an awd Infiniti but I wanted a suv or hybrid sub. I'm stumped at this point. I might say fukk it and finance a car for like 18 months.

Go ahead and get that 1st Gen Infiniti FX35 or FX45 (V8), dude. Wife had one and that shyt was super nice...handled like a car half its size. They STILL look dope and they sound great. I don't think any dude would look right in either of those chick cars you posted....you gonna look like you borrowing yo moms car or yo chick's car....

Back in MIA
All of Mercedes' SUVs look a little on the feminine side with the exception of the G and GL. The only way to change that is by going 63 (ML63, GLK63 coming soon, GLE63 etc).
It's kind of like the X5. Wouldn't be caught dead in one unless it was a X5M.

Take that for what it's worth...which is probably nothing.

Don't due it unless you are willing to budget and shell out an average of $2000-$2500 a year in maintenance and repairs (equivalent to a $200 car note which you are trying to avoid) My Benz - E350 was a tank, and got me to 250,000 miles before I got ride of it - but the stuff that went wrong - a lot of electrical issues with windows, door locks, speedometer panel LCD needing replaced. I was replacing a tail light about every 2 months, and got pulled over twice for that.

If you do get it, ask around and find a good independent mechanic who primarily works on Benz's or at least specializes in German cars. The equipment, scanners, etc used can be different which some generic shops may not have, and you will be visiting them a lot (just my experience, but others may have had better experiences with the Benz's)
