Was about to post this. His early mvp years he was just athletic and went 100 mph on every play
He seems refined now, vet presence on the floor, doesn't get rattled in big moments, showing some basketball iq, making the right plays, doing the little things. Playing solid defense. If he can stay healthy we might look back and say this version of rose is a little better because he smarter and picks his spots better.
I hope he stays healthy would be a great redemption story. And I still hope he retires a bull.

Any knick fan will tell u that rose wasnt the issue and played well during his season wit the Knicks unfortunately.. as with his coach in New York and Cleveland they used him incorrectly
If they actually played him to his strengths, and not as a third or 4th option they may have benefitted more ..
Unfortunately it was more so about KP ascending to franchise saviour and making sure he goes ON 2 develop.. in order to fast track the exit strategy of Melo ... ( and look how that worked out )
HORNACECK was also a horrible coach , but look at rose head to heads that season against other elite PGs in the league

He learned a J, he's not even the same player but he's finally learning to be effective without needing to drive every time he needs to score.
He could be scary again if he can keep his leg going and keeps hitting shots while being able to drive 10-15 times a game.
