naw, the same Kobe that averaged 29/7/6 in the playoff and lit Bruce Bowen(one of the best perimeter defenders ever) in the Spurs series.

You can always tell the nikkas that didn't watch basketball back then. Bruce Bowen was not a Spur in 2001. :wtf: :laff: Antonio Daniels was the man that was guarding Kobe....

Lakers in 5 or 6.

lol @ people bringing up the Sixers series. :wtf: You do know that the Lakers were RUSTY. They went 11 days without playing a game before games 1 of the finals. Even then it took an OT to beat them. Everyone outside of Shaq were clearly off.

Lakers swept the Blazers, Spurs and Kings. :skip: Everyone thought the Spurs series was going to 7 games. Since they had the best record in the NBA. :laff:

Goes to 6 games at the most.

It depends. If we are talking the Heat with a fraction of Wade and Bosh not 100% then they have no chance. If we are talking both teams at full strength then it would certainly be interesting. Heat have no answer for Shaq and you can pencil him in for 35 and 15. Healthy Wade and Kobe would be a wash. Role players would be a wash. The series would come down to Bron/Bosh as a tandem vs. Shaq. Don't see the Lakers having an answer for Bron and he wouldn't have to really guard Kobe meaning he could pretty much rest on D. I could see him putting up 32 and 10 easily. Bosh manages 15 and 10 and I don't see how the Lakers win. The Lakers dominated teams that had talent but didn't have as much transcendent talent as them. The Heat have just as much transcendent talent and even more versatility. I could see them winning a hard fought 6 game series.

:childplease: The 2001 Lakers were NOT one of the greatest teams ever. They had one of the best RUNS ever but that team was top heavy and that's it. They had 2 of the best 3 players in the league at the time (with Timmy sandwiched between them) and what else? Rick Fox and old ass Ron Harper were their next best players.

Problem is Bron was better than both their stars, a scenario those Lakers never had to deal with that year or any year for that matter. Not to mention 2 other All-Stars and mad 3 point shooters.

Kobe is on record saying Battier is the defender that gives him the most problems. And Bron could give Bean all kinds of problems if they decided to go that route.

Shaq would be a problem of course but 3 centers = 18 fouls.

The Lakers would have no answer whatsoever for the man who would be the best player on the floor. :lolbron:

Lakers in 5

Shaq would average 50/25

01 Kobe >> 2012 injured Wade

Shaq >> Bron

Bosh >>>>>>>>>>>>>> fox, horry, walker, whomever else.

Bosh would have to go ape shyt for miami to have a chance.

Miami would have to keep Anthony, Pittman on the floor meaning Shaq camps the lane and picks off wade and lebron when they get to the basket. Miami can't play to their advantage by going small and spreading the floor

LMFAO @ Bron being better than Shaq :laff:

Bron might have been better than Kobe, but not by much.

Kobe never said that. 2001 Kobe is a completely different player from the one you see today. Battier couldn't guard that version and neither can Lebron.

So LeBron didn't just have arguably the greatest playoff run in NBA history? :dwillhuh:

What year has Shaq or Kobe ever matched what Bron did this year?

LeBron James is the 2nd best basketball player I've ever witnessed.

1. Jordan
2. Bron
3. Dream
4. Shaq
5. Duncan
6. Kobe

Bron would be the best player on that floor. You can disagree/deny that all you want but there's no way you're gonna change my opinion on that matter. Dude is just too complete a player. He does EVERYTHING.
