Forget Kobe for a second. With the bums they had at center, Miami would have to double Shaq every time he touched the ball. Leaving nikkas like Fisher & Horry, players that just did not miss open threes in the 2001 run, open all game.

everybody saying lakers would have no answer for lebron but who's gunna stop Shaq? I'd take my money on a prime Shaq over 2012 Lebron ANYDAY. Who's gunna stop Kobe? Surely not this hobbled one knee D.Wade? Westbrook was shytting on D.Wade the entire finals. Fisher and Horry can hit the clutch shots just as good, if not better than Miller, Chalmers etc. Then add Phil Jackson to that? no competition at all.

Shaq would get his, no doubt. But unlike Bron, Shaq doesn't dominate the ball. He needs to be fed.

Fouls can take him out the game, remember Miami was the best flopping team in the league. Hack-a-Shaq can help to minimize his dominance as well because the nikka shoots so poorly from the line.

It would be a good series but LeBron was playing at a transcendent level this year. With 2 other All Stars and shooters spacing the floor I think the Heat provide the better supporting cast for their superstar. Plus Miami plays better D.

You know what's even more hilarious than the 2012 Celtics going 7 games with the 2012 heat?

Wait for it.

THE MIAMI HEAT, WHO WERE STATISTICALLY BETTER IN 2011, LOST IN 6 GAMES TO THE DALLAS MAVERICKS

So LeBron didn't just have arguably the greatest playoff run in NBA history? :dwillhuh:

What year has Shaq or Kobe ever matched what Bron did this year?

LeBron James is the 2nd best basketball player I've ever witnessed.

1. Jordan
2. Bron
3. Dream
4. Shaq
5. Duncan
6. Kobe

Bron would be the best player on that floor. You can disagree/deny that all you want but there's no way you're gonna change my opinion on that matter. Dude is just too complete a player. He does EVERYTHING.

30.4 on 55%, 15rebs, 3ast, .4stl, 2.4blk (Shaq)
29.4 on 47%, 7rebs, 6ast, 1.8stl, .8blk (Kobe)
10 on 44%, 5rebs, 3astl, 1.9stl, .4blk (Fox)

30 on 50%, 10rebs, 5ast, 1.8stl, .7blk (Bron)
23 on 46%, 5rebs, 4ast, 1.7stl, 1.3blk (Wade)
14 on 49%, 8rebs, .6ast, .4stl, 1blk (Bosh)

This is playoff numbers from 2012 & 2001. Nobody on Miami is stopping Shaq. For yall nikkas talking about fouling him out, don't you think IND, NJ & PHI thought that same thing? :skip:

Wade not stopping Kobe either. This the same Wade who only had a good showing vs. Pacers, vs. a Kobe that obliterated San Antonio (48 on 52%, 16rebs) & Sacramento (45 on 55%, 10rebs) then had two huge games vs. Philly.

Bron will get his. It comes down to Bosh because Wade will be gassed trying to stay with Kobe. LA in 6.
