Remember when people said $10M/year was too much for KEVIN GARNETT??

It's amazing how 12/8/2 can get you the max.
Not even a double-double and he's getting the max. Dude didn't even shoot over 50%

he wants 8-9 million a year. What type of money is he looking for? Id see the celts giving him a one or two yr deal to show if that heart problem isnt a problem. But I def hope celts fans havent forgotten about that ugly series he had against the heat tho![]()

the length of the contract is too much at his age should have had a T/O
I wonder how much Kris Humphries is going to get paid for averaging 13/10/1.2 on 48% shooting. If he was 6'11 he'd be getting the max, but he's 6'9.

Source says #Hawks not close on any deals. Discussions continue w/ Nets re: Joe Johnson
the length of the contract is too much at his age should have had a T/O
To be clear, RFAs can't sign offer sheets until moratorium ends July 11. Then, 3-day clock for existing team to match begins.
Two agents with clients on the 2011-12 Utah team recently told The Salt Lake Tribune they're open to a sign-and-trade if their players don't re-sign with the Jazz. Jazz forward Paul Millsap is expected to seek a new contract worth as much or more than the four-year, $40 million deal Nets forward Gerald Wallace has reportedly agreed to.
The Knicks have had exploratory talks with Phoenix about a sign-and-trade for Steve Nash, according to an NBA source. If the Suns take back a couple of Knicks pawns, it would allow Nash to make more than the $3.09 mid-level exception the Knicks have now.
With the New Jersey Nets in talks of a potential trade with the Atlanta Hawks for Joe Johnson, the domino effect might make its way all the way to Causeway Street. The addition of Johnson could make the Nets less likely to re-sign Gerald Green, which might then open the door for a potential return to Boston for the former Celtic.
