Hockey needs more national coverage in my opinion. I think they took out nhl network. I been wanting to follow hockey more closely other than the playoffs. I'll have to watch more games this season. it's gotta be national games cuz the local team is 
I don't have any TV stations to watch the Habs/Leafs game.
I'm on that El Ghetto Cheap cable package. The main networks, PBS, QVC, a bunch of Christian and Latino stations. That's it.
Trying to save money.
Anyway, at least it was a close game instead of a blow out. It's going to be a long season. I wouldn't put a lot in the first week's performance for any team... like they do for week 1 of the NFL.

- EGG line looks awesome
- Tinordi is rock solid
- Plekanec, GIonta and Bourque played well too but they just have to hit the net with their opportunities
- Price looked solid but was left out to dry way too many times
Cons:
- Discipline
- Parros
- Desharnais and Briere don't deserve to play with Pacioretty
- Markov and Diaz are
as a pairing and need to be split up now, TInordi takes over covering Markov's ass like Emelin did. Give Diaz 1-2 more game to get his shyt together, if not, Beaulieu comes in
Im making obsos,that fight was beyond corny and the reason it happened was cuz Orr laid a hard perfectly legal hit on Pacioretty....It sucks you cant even hit a guy hard anymore in this sport without having to fight because of it now...If i was the commish fighting would suspensions and heavy fines and there'd be a 3 out policy...id get rid of all these guys like Orr,Parros out the game...they should be working as bouncers at nightclubs...
