Ladies & Gentlemen, hip hop in 2013... "rappers" telling 80k followers they can't rap and complaining about the beat & "production value" on a fukkin cypher. It's just a cypher you're just supposed to rap better than other people, not make a fukkin single. That should show how "hip hop" some of these "rappers" are. I'm glad he said that though, now I don't have to call him a rapper anymore.
I just feel he's better than Kendrick if we talk about just freestyles, cyphers or guest verses on other artists songs where the main goal usually is "just" outshining other mc's. Like on Black Lip b*stard or TDE's UOENO freestyle, imo Jay Rock had the best verse on both of those songs

And he doesn't craft better songs (critically speaking)... but he has more natural conviction. "Who Am I" finally made me appreciate him.
