Nah. Morey wants a first round pick. He and the NBA knows that Chicaho want to get under the luxary tax.

I think Chicago will bite. They dont act like the profiting franchise we knpow they are.


You guys will most likely get Terence Jones in return...so its not all bad. He's better than any first round pick you'll get this year.

It's not that it's a bad trade (assuming it's the package I think it is), it's that Golden State assumes ALL of the risk, while New Orleans has nothing to lose. If Klay doesn't pan out in New Orleans, it's whatever. They get to clear space and worst case have a shooter.

If Eric Gordon doesn't pan out in Golden State, that can cap a team's ceiling.

I like EG as a player, but I don't want him on my team. We're already depending on 2 players who have a history of injuries, I don't want to add a 3rd into the mix.

I do think we need a change though....I feel like we need to get a slasher/get to the rim/line type of guy...
