KJ was traded because the Cavs didn't expect Mark Price to turn into an All Star. But the result was a win-win for everyone involved. KJ goes to the Suns and becomes a perennial All Star; the Cavs acquired Larry Nance to line up next to Brad Daughtery and Hot Rod Williams.
