cats are acting like geno smith didn't put up 450 passing yards on lsu, a lsu team that had claiborne, honey badger, eric reid back there

geno really didn't get exposed, him having no defense at all and the pressure to score on every possession because his d couldn't get a stop is what made him struggle

Yards dont mean shyt..most of them came when WVU was down a ton and LSU was letting them throw short passes..theyres a reason a lot of tiems a qb with that many yards loses its because they had to throw a ton because they were down and defenses are willing to give up yards for time

I've never been keen on a 40 time being the end all be all as far as judging how fast a player is. You're not gonna be running on a track at a combine the same way you would be running on the field with a 250 pound linebacker chasing you. Adrenaline makes a person move faster and i know they can't simulate that as part of doing the 40. Some of the fastest timed people ever in the 40 have never shown that speed in a game. But i know it's plenty of "slow runners" out there (Jerry Rice Emmitt Smith) who weren't gonna get caught from behind if they had the ball.

LSU defense was way better than anything on WVU that season.including Geno who wasn't that great last year.
