This nikka don't wanna play in the league. Not that bench is important for a corner but because those kicker numbers. He had a year to work out specifically for the combine and he put up 4 reps :what: he don't want it
Its like I been said, that nikka keep the wrong people around him...I was at this party and seen it with my own two eyes...after he got arrested he was still hangin with that nikka that he was arrested with.:snoop:
ooooooooooooh, you a LSU fan...i get it:pachaha:

nah, I think the kid will be fine...cost himself millions, but he'll get his chance and hopefully show the fukk out!

I see yall, can y'all just knock Alabama off please? Hopefully Cam Cameron will help with that and PLEASE tell Miles to recruit a HALF DECENT qb...:sadcam:
we play grown man football:smugmiles:

We need talent on offense. Who says we bring back Edwards, and Hill is not answer. You draft for best player available. We done drafted too much defense give offense some burn.

Fam I think the Jets should only use 2 picks at most on defense (the first and one of the day 3 picks)

The Jets need starters. They have starters at WR. I can't say that about RB, TE, guard, OLB, safety). You can't throw in the towel already on Hill. He's a project. He needs more time. WR is a need, but it's one of those things where they're not screwed there if they don't draft one. I'd rather stare down the possibility of Stephen Hill starting than Jeff Cumberland/Dustin Keller at TE, Shonn Greene at RB, Slauson/Moore at guard, or what's left at safety (I don't mind Allen and Bush there worst case but then they need depth there)

Jets should just use 2 picks on defense, both for OLB. We have no starters at that position, so I could see us double dipping.

A combo of Mingo/Jones & Jenkins/Buchanon would have me salivating.

The rest of the picks can go on offense.

Also depends if we trade down or not.

So keep the same starters at WR where we had the #31st ranked passing offense :childplease:.

Shonn Greene is a free agent and isn't coming back. Moore had a good season but is old soon we will need a replacement. Our o-line is not a problem right now.

There is a reason why Cromartie thinks he's second best WR on team.

Moore didn't have a good season. Besides, it's better if we get these guards subbed out a year early rather than have to face the possibility of starting two rookie guards and possibly a RT after next season. That's too much getting used to for an O-Line. They need to solve one of those guard spots now and then when Ducasse eventually shyts the bed we can replace the other guard spot. They just can't bring back the same O-Line they had this year. The guards didn't play well at all.

If we trade down, by all means, grab a WR, CB, QB, whatever you want. Otherwise, the Jets would be failing to address a key position that needs a starter with free agency not being much of an option towards filling those needs. Unfortunately the Jets have to bank on the draft to at least get new starters at most of the offensive skill positions and given that we just used a 2nd rounder on a raw prospect WR, it's best that the Jets let him develop. Otherwise, the Jets shouldn't waste their time.

Barring a home run on every skill pick, they'll still be at the bottom offensively simply based on who their QB is.

I knew the the blame of Sanchez would come, but what is your QB supposed to do when his receivers are blanketed ? Either check down, throw it away, or take the sack, but you can't do this all the time soon the QB is gonna have to make a play.

Like I said Cromartie was shytting on our receivers for a reason. He know their garbage and he keeps saying we need playmakers on the offense to help out Sanchez.

Hill can develop on the bench, while we bring in some one better. I'm sorry but if you can't catch the football you have no business starting. Also Moore graded out very good according to PFF. Austin Howard is capable RT.

The O-Line wasn't as bad as people said it was, but it wasn't the third best O-Line or whatever number they said. Same with the pass D. It wasn't the 2nd best pass D. Those numbers are deceiving.

I'm not saying they don't need playmakers, but they need to start by getting a new RB and TE. Unfortunately they can't fix everything in one year. If you go get a playmaking WR early, cool, but are you gonna draft a RB and TE and guard as well? I don't see how they can draft a starter at every offensive skill position with every pick. shyt, the Jets can't bring back the only guy Fez is even somewhat comfortable throwing to in Keller. Either way he's fukked, but it's not about him. It's about the next QB coming in and having most of those parts filled in.

Assuming the Jets get a new OLB, RB, TE, guard, and safety this year, next year the Jets would already need a new QB, WR, guard, CB and maybe another OLB. The Jets simply need as many starters as possible. I don't see us getting a WR that will ultimately start over Santonio, Braylon, or Kerley so soon

Yeah the stats are deceiving somewhat, but you made it seem like we need a new offensive line.

You keep bringing up Braylon, he is a free agent. Kerley plays the slot, he's not our #1 or #2 receiver. We need to move on from Holmes anyways. That's why we need some receivers.

You can't fill all your needs in one year anyways, so it's always go with best player. Hopkins is best receiver in draft in my opinion, why not draft him ?

None of these QBs in the draft really intrigue me.

Only one I would consider is Tyler Bray in the 3rd. That's it.

I'm fine with sticking with what we got and aiming for Teddy Bridgewater or Logan Thomas in 2014

They kinda do. If they don't address at least one of the guard spots, we're looking at the certainty of needing to start two rookie guards and God forbid Austin Howard takes a step back, then you might need a RT. I'd advocate replacing D'Brick too, but that contract isn't going anywhere yet. You wanna replace the O-Line piece by piece as opposed to sweeping changes. When that happens, it just leaves our new QB vulnerable.

You keep bringing up Braylon, he is a free agent. Kerley plays the slot, he's not our #1 or #2 receiver. We need to move on from Holmes anyways. That's why we need some receivers.

The Jets can do that next year. In the meantime, Holmes isn't going anywhere yet, Hill and Kerley and here, and we'll bring Braylon back because he'll be super cheap and nobody will want him.

You can't fill all your needs in one year anyways, so it's always go with best player. Hopkins is best receiver in draft in my opinion, why not draft him ?

I'm a fan of Hopkins, but someone has to start at those other key skill positions that would help the QB out. What position are you willing to sacrifice to get your playmaking receiver now?

mind you, if by some chance the Jets fill some of these needs via free agency, by all means.

I have no problem replacing Slauson, but everybody else on the o-line is straight. You talk too much in the future when we don't know how the season plays out yet.

Because Braylon is super cheap doesn't mean anything, we need younger talent that a QB can have around him for years to come, not a receiver past his prime. If Jets were smart they eat Holmes contract now and not wait until next year to get rid of him.

I'm a fan of Hopkins, but someone has to start at those other key skill positions that would help the QB out. What position are you willing to sacrifice to get your playmaking receiver now?

Jets won't be able to do much in free agency, and today is a passing league. You can find good running backs in later rounds, though Jets can't seem to do that. All positions you say are needs talent can be found in later rounds.
