Plenty of indication he would be good at it, has good range, instincts, speed, ball skills, and can tackle, and knows how to be the secondary tackler(creating turnovers) Not sure what else you need to know.

I just don't believe he has the coverage skills to be an every down corner in the NFL.
good thing your no nfl scout:smugmiles:

You can't quantify that into thinking he don't want it.

exactly, a bench press means nothing

Andre Smith had probably the worst combine of all time, and has turned into a pretty solid player. The combine shows some stuff, but you don't put all your weight in it.

Honestly the most important parts of the combine, the medical and interviews, you don't see.

Because out of the list of priorities that he indirectly made clear, that shyt was near the bottom. The exercises that were positioned-specified he did surprisingly well at. Yes, the bench press isn't viewed as a weight for his value, but rather his work ethic (which he's facing an up-hill battle and it certainly didn't help his cause). But this doesn't give cause at all, to push this "he don't want it" narrative, when the combine really don't mean shyt at the end of the day (especially for a player whose makeup is primarily built on instinct).

I think the honey badger is going to make it.Yeah his bench was weak but when you watch him on the field it just seems like he has that it.Not saying he'll be a all pro but he could have a decent career if he starts using moderation on the indo smoke.I'd like to see him go to Cleveland with his idol Trent. And he can kind of take him under his wing.

i would normally agree with you but not in Tyrann's case. This is his job interview. he's a year out of football, you got kicked off the team for smoking and GMs know that college players smoke but when you get kicked off that sends extreme red flags, then he gets arrested for more weed charges after he said he was fixed. that's a steep uphill battle already. so to come to the combine and put up 4 reps when you know your size is going to be questioned shows he ain't been working on it. he had like 7 months straight to workout just for this moment. what has he doing in that time? i'm sure GMs asked him and know but still you gotta show you've been trying when you're in the situation he's in.
