I think Joey Badass is a beast lyrically but I cannot even fathom him blowing up. His flow just sounds....ugh... when paired with todays production and emphasis on song making (as opposed to focus on all out spitting)

Future gotta blow this year its now or never.

I think the Brooklyn scene will come back to the forefront this year. They got a lot of dope ass artist making moves out there like Joey and the whole Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, David Stones, Dyme-a-Duzin, Stann Smith, The Underachievers, MFN Exquire, and Troy Ave. I'm starting to see a lot of them work with each other now too so they're building a new NY scene on the low. I think the Mainstream media gonna catch on to what's going on in BK and shine some light on it.

I REALLY wanna see everybody in Black Hippy blow up. They really set themselves up for success last year now I wanna see Ab, Q, and Rock do exactly what Kendrick did and take the industry by storm. They ALL deserve it and they ALL make excellent music.

It will happen.

Ab-Soul will drop first. Q got next. Then Jay Rock will end the year.

What about the Mona Lisa of Hip Hop? Kendrick & J. Cole will drop their project out of no where.

TDE will run 2013. Lyrics are coming back to the fore front and individuality.

I think at best this crowd of BK cats can etch out a lane similar to the Blu, Exile, Co$$, Brainfeeder lane. I see no stars. But I haven't even heard half those names.

BK hipster rap! What happened to Fresh Daily? He's like the forefather of that lane.

Future gotta step his social skills up,he ain't interactive or say much of nuthin on twitter, and a little bit too humble.....but musically I think he can blow up,just thinks it takes a little more than that nowadays unfortunatley....extra bullshyt or controversy.

Lil Boosie gon have a big year, expect the entire rap game to step the dikkriding up beggin to be on his songs or trying to get him on theirs.

Yellah Nino bout to get out, ignorant as ever, ain't gotta worry about a Shyne situation:whoa:..hope he blow up,right situation he got sumthin, early TI flow skill, decent hook game, djsauce lace em with sum beats.

Been saying this. Lyrics have been making a slow comeback since 2010. With the likes of Drak, Cole, Wale, K-Dot, and even Meek Mill dropping albums and selling more than the typical non-lyrical club rapper, its only a short amount of time before Hip Hop is going to have another great era.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will get more mainstream love (although they just seem like one of those acts where 5 years from now we'll be like "remember those guys")
J Cole might get better and be bigger
Joey Badass will get a stronger following

But all in all it'll be some dude who drops an amazing mixtape out of nowhere
