:whoa: Infiniti has and always will be considered entry level luxury cars at best. They fell off a awhile ago. That front end design in the original post is a blatant ripoff of the new Lexus GS. It's like they're not even trying anymore. The current bodystyle Maxima looks better than any of the current cars in Infiniti's line up if you ask me.

Nissan was short sided when pumping so much cash into the maxima. It makes first lvl infintis less valuable

Wait...so the G is gonna become the Q...which makes it smaller than the M...and the M will be what?

If so, :mindblown: Infiniti is buggin. They need a third sedan to fukk with the A8, S550 and BMW 7 market level. The renaming is also simply confusing.

^ It's actually easier. The naming convention goes by price.

Q50 - G37

Q60 - G37 Coupe

Q70 - M

the higher the number, the more $$$, like Audi.

Q50h. 0-60 less than 5 seconds. 30MPG combined. Reliable.
Favorite car in this class.

Yup, Infiniti is clearly lost and don't know what the fukk they doing, Infiniti transformed the G series into the top selling car in it's lineup and one of the most well known and successful cars in the sport sedan/coupe segment, then for some random reason on the all-new redesign they go and change the identifying name from G to Q!? :wtf:

Oh, and the styling cues are inspired by the Infiniti Essence Concept ('09), and the bigger M. All of which predate the new Lexus design language.

Man, that car looks good to me. I want to see better pictures of the Q70 and if they are going to have a V6 & V8 model or just a V8 model. Hell in a couple of years I might be able to afford one.

looks like the current maxima from the front and a Hyundai from the back.

they also need to do a better job of separating the Nissan and Infiniti line.

Tho I did recently pick up a 2011 G37x Sedan for 20K.

Yeah I get that but Audi and everyone else got a third sedan, a big dog (A8, 7 Series, S Class). Infiniti doesn't have that.

If it performs just as well I don't think people will stop buying Infinitis but I agree.

People definitely won't stop buying infinitis. Most people think they are more than entry level luxury cars.

Don't know how you can say this when Lexus, Audi and especially Acura are bigger offenders of this.

Until the recent JX35, the entire Infiniti fleet was based of RWD platforms none of which were shared with Nissan (aside from the 370Z)

Inifniti is the "luxury" brand of Nissan. But the cars look the same.
Lexus is the "luxury" brand of Toyota. And they look significantly different.
Acura is the "luxury" brand of Honda. And they look significantly different.

Audi is just Audi.
I'm talking about the appearance. :rudy: There's barely a difference between a nissan and an infiniti. They all got that same lookin front end and overall shape.

Now this "new" one = Maxima mix with Hyundai.

At least with the G series you could tell it was a G from the rear-end. Now you might mistake it for a hyundai.
