Memphis must not believe in their brand of basketball anymore. Trading tony and tayshaun changes the way they play.

:ehh: Courtney Lee & James Johnson have been better than Prince & Allen this season, and are younger, plus Marc Gasol is the Grizzles whole defense, and the Grizz need help on offense. Not sure what they are going to do with Z-Bo though.

Memphis has been trying to unload Prince and his cumbersome contract, sources tell Wojnarowski. The forward is earning $7.2MM this season and will make $7.7MM in 2014/15. on his contract. Meanwhile, Wolves GM Flip Saunders is believed to want to add defensive toughness to his roster, and that would make Allen a natural fit.

Budinger, 25, missed much of the early season recovering from knee surgery, and has averaged 6.0 PPG in 17.7 minutes per game this season. Barea, 29, is averaging 8.7 PPG in 18 minutes per contest this season. The Wolves badly want to make the playoffs this season with Kevin Love’s free agency on the horizon and they have reportedly been open to moving the diminutive guard in order to help make that happen.

Why is this trade deadline so quiet brehs?
Teams that want to trade their players want to acquire 1st round picks from teams, but teams realize that draft picks are really valuable in the new CBA, and also why trade for a player who is going to be a free agent in the summer, when if you want, you can just sign that player without giving up assets in the summer.

Earth to Flip:

Here's the keep it simple stupid approach to improving your defense:

Start Mbah a Moute over Brewer.

2. Play Dieng more, and play him til he fouls out.

3. since that won't happen under Adelman, you have 10,000 lakes to throw Adelman into.

I like Evan turner hmmm for who tho? Danny green? Hate to see him go but the nikka can't do nothing but shoot.. he does play good d tho

the sixers are holding an open house in exchange for picks.
the spurs are willing to trade away picks in order to make another serious run at the chip.
and evan turner is perfect for the spurs.

OKC could use turner too, and they have 2 first round picks. that mavs pick can land anywhere between 14 & 23.
