If the Bobcats can find a way to get Evan Turner and Taj Gibson...This came out of nowhere.

The most talked-about member of the Suns for the next two weeks might wind up being a player who will not suit up for any upcoming games.
Emeka Okafor has spent one day in Phoenix since the Suns acquired him in October, but he suddenly will become a valuable asset and an attractive target as the Feb. 20 NBA trade deadline approaches.
Okafor is in New York rehabilitating a neck injury that will not allow him to play this season. The Suns knew that was a strong possibility when they traded Marcin Gortat and three then-waived players to Washington for him and a first-round draft pick.
The first-round pick was not the only asset in the deal, because Okafor has an expiring contract that is good for more than just creating salary-cap space in summer free agency. Due to the neck injury, the team that has Okafor’s rights recoups 80 percent of his salary from the season’s midpoint. For a $14.5 million salary, that means the Suns would get $5.8 million back if they held onto him.
Okafor’s contract, with the Suns’ $5.6 million of salary-cap space, also could be a chip for the Suns to make a trade that would go in one of two directions (or some combination of the two): They could make a deal for a quality young player who they feel is on the rise and could be part of their long-term championship hopes. They also could acquire a player who gives them a bump this season, when they unexpectedly are in sixth place in the Western Conference.
The latter is what prompted the talks, reported first by ESPN.com, with the Los Angeles Lakers for Pau Gasol. The Suns are exploring many options for the Okafor trade chip, but Gasol leaked to light. Even with Gasol’s $19.3 million contract, the Suns could make the deal because of their cap space. But it would come at a cost of about $7 million for what the Suns would lose in Okafor contract savings and take on in prorated payroll.
Jared Zwerling: Talking to league insiders, I'm hearing these names are being mentioned in trade talks within league circles (a lot of talk right now): A. Afflalo, T. Ariza, C. Singleton, G. Davis, R. Evans, P. Gasol, T. Gibson, C. Landry, G. Monroe, A. Rivers, T. Sefolosha and G. Vasquez.
I dont care what we get back just get rid of reggie evansHouston, outside of Minny never doing that, the cap won't allow this trade.

I kind of hope we don't really do anything. I like this team right now & want to see what they can do.Gotdamn is there ANY way the Thunder could make a run at Afflalo?
That needs to happen big time.
I like the direction this thread is heading.
Trade I would love to happen
LAL gets Love and Thad Young
Minnesota gets Pau
Philly gets Nash and J.J. Barea
Who says no?
