What does any of that have to do with the fact that EVAN TURNER CAN NOT SHOOT THE BASKETBALL!?
Does it matter if you're getting 2nd and 3rd second chance attempts in one possession?
What does any of that have to do with the fact that EVAN TURNER CAN NOT SHOOT THE BASKETBALL!?
Dude I can't believe somebody actually wanted dude. He's like arguably the worst player in the league. And we got a 2nd rounder for him![]()
Seriously, Hinkie has done a better job rebuilding the Sixers in less than a year than everyone has combined since Allen Iverson was traded to Denver.
all he did was trade for 2nd round picks. What does any of that have to do with the fact that EVAN TURNER CAN NOT SHOOT THE BASKETBALL!?
stop acting like the man's never hit a jumpshot. he's an NBA player. if he was shooting 42% in Philly as the #1 option and the main focus on D, he'll shoot around 45% in Indy getting easier shots. There are GMs who can't even dismantle a team properly in order to rebuild. There aren't any Sixers fans on this board who are sad to see Evan Turner traded, in fact, most wanted him gone from the jump. As for Spencer Hawes, he is fukkingall he did was trade for 2nd round picks.
nikkas acting like he added serious talent. all he did was clear the decks. thats the easy part. the hard part is actually finding some good pieces to put back on the ship. Hawes and Turner were lottery picks. the thing that separates the good GMs from the bad GMs is drafting. and we have yet to see if he's any good at that. props on MCW though.
he's gonna be on his 3rd team since he was drafted and likely his 4th next season. So then tell me why Tyreke Evans, a former rookie of the year, is shooting a career worst 40% in New Orleans...he's surrounded by much better talent in New Orleans than he was in Sacramento. When you can't shoot, you can't shoot. Doesn't matter who you play with.stop acting like the man's never hit a jumpshot. he's an NBA player. if he was shooting 42% in Philly as the #1 option and the main focus on D, he'll shoot around 45% in Indy getting easier shots.
almost any decent player sees their shooting % increase when they play with better players and get easier looks.
all he did was trade for 2nd round picks.

teams often trade out of the first round for 2nd rounders. There are GMs who can't even dismantle a team properly in order to rebuild. Those 2nd rounders can be turned into first rounders during the draftteams often trade out of the first round for 2nd rounders.
You continue to just spew nonsense b.
Right....because having 9 2nd round picks in a draft is the same as having 4 top 4 picks in 3 separate drafts, two of which were in one draft. You really are the Seum's WOAT. Keep earning that tag you rep.because as I showed earlier once you get past the 20th pick in the first round, each draft pick afterwards has roughly the same value. the only difference is 1s get guaranteed Ks and 2s don't.
we'll see in 4 years if he can turn all these draft picks into something worthwhile or if we have another Cavs situation on our hands where a team is gifted tons of drafts picks and fukks all but one of em up.
its easy to acquire picks, its another to turn them into quality pieces. thats what separates the great teams of the lousy ones.

Even though the big players that everyone wanted to see get traded, it was an alright trade deadline. That Evan Turner-Danny Granger trade saved what would have been another bad deadline, but can't be worse than last years when JJ Reddikk was the biggest name to get traded.
All in all, best think we learned just like every trade rumor, if a trade rumor is out there, than its more than likely means that the trade will not being going down. Plus, the new CBA has changed the trade deadline game going forth.
