St. Louis should draft Sammy Watkins number 2. They aint had a #1 reciever since Torry **** left. Them no names they got now aint got cut it, Tavon Austin is good but he's only meant for the slot. They need a true #1
Nah. Not saying they shouldn't get him, but not at the 2nd spot. They should be looking to trade down and get some extra picks. They should get some get offers as there's some QB needy teams. Then pick Watkins with the pick they end up with

Chip will most likely take DAT or Huff in the 4th/5th round. Both are what Chip likes in his WRs versatile and can play on ST's. He may do a Bennie Logan and take Huff or DAT a round earlier, maybe.

My dream first three rounds for the Eagles.

1st: Haha Clinton-Dix FS Bama
2nd: Odell Beckham Jr or Jarvis Landry WR LSU
3: Marcus Smith OLB/DE Louisville
You must have missed the memo. Leave LSU offensive skill position players in the bushes. Outside of D. Bowe, who has really shined on that side of the ball?

So its like the theory about USC QBs and Bama DBs? i still would draft with Beckham Jr and Jarvis Landry. Rueben Randle is going to be nice as fukk with the Giants. They might let Nicks go because of Randle. I think Beckham and Landry will change that notion about offensive players from LSU.

I'd like to see the Jets draft M. Lee from USC with the 18th pick. They need some weapons around geno to see how he progresses, and I like Lee more then Evans personally

Odell will be the best wr from LSU since Bowe, dudes the truth. Landry could be a steal if his slips into the late 2nd or early 3rd.

Meh, I'll pass on Lee. Not really sold on him. I think he'll be a Jeremy Maclin type receiver. A very good #2 option but not a dynamic player, which you what you should be getting from a receiver if you're picking them in the Top 20.

I want the Jets to draft Jace Amaro in the 1st and Allen Robinson in the 2nd

Regarding Bama Db's
http://smartfootball.com/defense/why-nick-saban-doesnt-teach-backpedaling#sthash.HOl1Adn4.dpbs

Saban corner's will always look better in college because they are reading the route combinations of the receivers, if they go into different defenses in the NFL they may not be as prepared. Might be the equivalent of a qb in a spread offense gotta overlook some things that dont translate to your system

As Saban tells it, he used to teach backpedaling until he was with the Cleveland Browns with Bill Belichick. The ownership signed the legendary Everson Walls, who, much to the dismay of the young defensive backs coach, Saban, ran about a 4.8 forty yard dash and simply could not, under any circumstances, backpedal. He was awkward, couldn’t accelerate, and there were other guys on the roster much better at backpedaling.

Walls also, however, was being paid significantly more than his coach, and it was clear from the ownership that Walls would be starting. He also, it must be said, was still a great player, and just happens to still rank 10th on the all time list of most interceptions in NFL history. So Saban began teaching his now famous “shuffle” technique, rather than the traditional backpedal. There’s a good deal to it, and it can adjust depending on the receiver’s exact release, but essentially it is a three-step shuffle technique, at which point the defensive back may break on a short route or can turn and run and play the receiver down the field.

Complementing this is that Alabama’s cornerbacks spend about 90% of the game in a press coverage position, from which they either stay in press or can bail to a zone or off-man position. They do this because it threatens the offense and helps take away screens and quick passes, and they feel that if a defense doesn’t press it’s a huge advantage to the offense who is simply throwing routes on air. I have to say that having excellent corners like Saban has had at Alabama helps, but, as more of an offensive guy, I would much prefer my corners to show a lot of press (even if they bail a lot) and use the shuffle technique as opposed to the backpedal. There’s nothing easier than seeing a bunch of corners lined up at seven yards backpedaling at the snap; you can run just about anything at that, and they simply will not be able to react quickly enough.

Yep, and if the Texans were to pass on Bridgewater that would be perfect for the Raiders or Browns to trade up ahead of JAX and still be able to take Watkins @ 4 or 5

Mel Kiper's First Mock Draft Top 10:
1) Texans - Johnny Manziel
2) Rams - Jake Matthews
3) Jaguars - Jadeveon Clowney
4) Browns - Blake Borles
5) Raiders - Sammy Watkins
6) Falcons - Anthony Barr
7) Tampa Bay - Khalil Mack
8) Vikings - Teddy Bridgewater
9) Bills - Greg Robinson
10) Lions - Justin Gilbert
