Random and nothing to do with 2014, but last year Seneca Wallace was the first black QB to start for the Packers:mjpls:

I don't know about you guys but I find myself having to constantly take a break from "NFL Coverage"

The 24/ 7 NFL news cycle is fukkin DRAINING. Outside of watching games....I find myself using the mute button on all these scandals but not just that.....I'm talking NFL Live....insiders....this show that show.....the 24 hour talking about the same fukkin bullshyt topics allllllll goddamnnnnn day. Gimme a fukkin break.

The NFL wants you thinking about the NFL BETWEEN thinking about the NFL. It gives me a fukkin headache. I find it overwhelming.

Again when it comes to watching actual NFL games I'm good. But all this extra non stop bullshyt has a piece of me wanting to see the NFL FAIL.

And let's say the NFL flops one day....yeah it would be sad.....but at the end of the day fukk the NFL
I kinda agree with this, kinda don't

On one hand, I agree that the NFL is trying to saturate its coverage as much as possible. A lot of the fun in football comes in the fact that they only play once a week, and the season isn't even that long. You really look forward to the games. Leave some intrigue, leave some left to the imagination you know? That's how people got so passionate to begin with.

On the other hand though, I'm guilty of the sports radio, the message boards, watching the draft, etc. because I love having the info.

I never get tired of NFL talk on The Coli though. You can find gold in every thread, something that will have you laughing. I love football so I do check stuff out(tv/radio), but there's always that time after so long where it's like man I gotta turn this shyt off.

being fined/getting penalties for language on the field is absurd. i mean if someone is truly degrading someone (malicious racial slur, calling sam a fakkit), maybe, but general obscenities? :beli: what competitive sports environment doesn't elicit foul language, this isn't pop warner

I understand what fam was saying about NFL oversaturation.More so because of ESPN pushing their shows on us.However outside of only a few people not many hold knowledgeable unbiased opinions on their teams and just in general. That AP,Ray Rice story is not just sports news it's all over world news in a time where country should be focus on terror threats and police brutality imo
