I really hate how the Big 12 dropped the ball the past few years. There's a chance we could've landed Louisville and possibly Notre Dame.
That would've put the conference on par or better than it was when all those teams left, not to mention having a title game

I never believed for a second that ND would come to the Big 12. They definitely fukked up by not getting Louisville and choosing TCU over U of H. They should at least add BYU & Cincy ASAP to the conference to get to 12 teams & a CCG.I really hate how the Big 12 dropped the ball the past few years. fukk NO! TCU is a small private school with less than 10,000 students (that is irrelevant in the DFW Metroplex) compared to U of H which is a State University with over 40,000 students.I think tcu was a good choice, tho. You don't think tcu has any staying power?
that's messed up. If Baylor and TCU both run the table here on out, they BOTH deserve to be co-champions as it stands.
It's already a shame both, or possibly neither, might not be in the playoff
Man, forget y'all dudes with teams in the playoff hunt.
Hate y'all

U of H has more potential than TCU.
From a revenue generating standpoint, yes. But I doubt U of H will ever sniff the top ten again. Recruiting just isn't there. 3rd was the highest they've been and that was when Ware was there. tcu has been nationally relevant for nearly a decade.
So what's more important? Earning potential or National relevancy?
TCU is only as good as long as Gary Patterson is still there. As soon as he leaves for a better job, their irrelevant. The same goes for Baylor with Art Briles. U of H just makes more sense long-term (and is more of threat to Texas and Texas A&M) than TCU or Baylor.
