Are you concerned with taking on another branch from the Saban tree with less credentials (perceived) than Muschamp?

I see your point but I think he'll be fine at UF. He's a REALLY good offensive coordinator and that's what we need. Muschamp was doomed at UF because he had no HC experience and wasn't left with a lot when Meyer left. I'm glad McElwain is seasoned even if it wasn't in a P5 conference. Was he my TOP choice? Heck no, but i'm ok with it. I'm not blindsided by it like I was by the Zook and Muschamp hire

its not really as much a money thing. most people on campus think theyll get rid of undergrad programs and keep uab a research/med school and give UA all the programs . couldve hired jimbo fisher in like 06. UA board said no. could have had our own stadium. board says no.the pres who supports it mysteriously leaves. new guy comes and they axe our honors program. if mobile and montgomery can have their own d1 school the most populated city in the state can too
i feel for the players tho. bear bryant jr is behind all this
