It will just make his descent that much more enjoyable. He's a cocky SOB but he is a great offensive mind. Can't dispute that
Descent to where? Gus ain't going nowhere breh. :win:

Look at his track record. He's basically Spurrier Jr. Offenses have set records pretty much everywhere he's been.

yep
shout out to rich rod and mike leach
Rich Rod and Leach never had the talent Malzahn does. Rich Rod finally got to Power 5 conference and flopped. Leach was consistently 8-5 during his time at TTU.

Don't see the comparison. Gus and his teams have been consistently getting it done against good competition.

That man's just good at what he does....I think he'll be like Spurrier is now when he gets older......Offense won't be exactly the same as it is now, because he'll be constantly evolving....He'll be at least a 10-11 win type of coach for a long time.

Leach's system does require even more talent than Malzahn's to work nationally. Sure it can win games and tire out teams, but with his current level of talent, the OL gets exploited a lot, his receivers aren't exactly the best, and you gotta hope the other side doesn't have an elite secondary or he's fukked. Malzahn's offense does evolve and can adjust to talent levels (see Tulsa and Arkansas State)

Can you b*stardize irrelevance?

Cliff out here doing the most:

If Kingsbury is able to string together a Leach-like very good season, Tech could become great recruiting ground.

This sort of stuff sells many recruits on schools. Maybe not 5-star recruits, but many 3 and few 4 star kids would love to play for a coach like him and a team that shows a togetherness.

And they have some dope jerseys for whatever that's worth.

This how I think the SEC goes
East:
South Carolina 12-0 (Favorable schedule)
Georgia 11-1 (Loses to Carolina)
Florida 8-4 (Loses to ALA, UGA, USC, FSU)
Missouri 7-5 (Loses to FLA, UGA, USC, A&M, Ark)
Tennessee 6-6 (Loses to OU, UGA, FLA, ALA, USC, Mizzou)
Vanderbilt 5-7 (Loses to MISS, USC, UGA, Mizzou, FLA, MSU, TENN)
Kentucky 2-10 (Only wins against UT-Martin & ULM)

West:
Alabama 12-0 (wins a close game against AU to close out)
Auburn 10-2 (Loses to ALA, USC)
LSU 9-3 (Loses to ALA, AUB, UF)
Miss St. 8-4 (Loses to LSU, A&M, AUB, ALA)
Ole Miss 7-5 (Loses to ALA, TENN, LSU, AUB, MSU)
Texas A&M 7-5 (Loses to USC, MISS, ALA, AUB, LSU)
Arkansas 4-8 (Wins it's first SEC game since 2012 against Mizzou)

Lots of new QB's in the SEC....it'll be interesting.

I dont see USC going 12-0 tho regardless of schedule...I dont see them beating Auburn or Georgia. But that's just a guess on my part.
