Use some sense and actually think about was said instead of trolling. Big 12 has maybe 4 schools that matter right now, Texas, OU, OSU, Baylor. You could probably replace Texas with Texas Tech. They need another good, or at least decent team.

man, just stop.

ND States whole angle is getting D1 transfers(guys who were suspended, cut, wanted more playing time, etc). If they become a D1 school, there goes their entire angle of recruiting. They're like Boise St a few years ago in that they have an entire off-season to prepare for ONE game

This is NOT UP FOR DEBATE

That's the angle of most top tier D2 programs, and I'm not saying NDSU is gonna immediately fukk shyt up in the Big 12, but they're good enough right now to be in the middle, and over time they'll have recruited well enough

hopefully

to be a proper D1 school, it's not that big a chance as they are currently beating every B12 school they play

Why shouldn't North Dakota State join Big 12? Say your point in a way that's actually non-refutable, because what you said earlier is CLEARLY up for debate. Either some of those big 12 schools are recruiting worse than Division 1 leftovers or those Division 1 leftovers at NDSU are pretty good

North dakota states entire collegiate endowment is less than texas' athletic revenue.

They have gone undefeated twice since 1990, which means they routinely drop a game or more to fcs competition.

They play in a 19000 person stadium.

Their closest counterpart in fcs was appalacian state, a team who had a higher peak than ndsu and fell aprt quickly as a program becuase you cant maintain a program with bubblegum and hope.

Why would the big twelve share revenue with tha shyt school? And why would they expose themselves like that? Utah in the pac12 says thats a BAD idea.

This is NOT up for debate. They are not a fbs caliber team.

I'm going to say this one more time. They have all off-season to prepare for ONE game. They're doing the same thing(on a lower level) Boise St did a few years ago.

Yes, they're a good team for D2, but week in & out they'd get trampled in the Big 12. Their angle is getting transfer D1 players, which would NOT happen if they were a D1 school. The rules wouldnt even allow it.

They're in no way a "middle" Big 12 team. People consider WVU and OSU to be bottom/middle-tier Big 12 teams....and they both took FSU & Bama to the wire. Are you roughly suggesting ND State could hang with Bama and FSU????

I will not entertain this anymore.

So we not gonna mention Auburn somehow donating their old Russell uniforms to UT Martin? :deadrose:

Yep, if they joined the Big 12, they'd be 2-10 to 4-8 every year. Look at who they beat, a depleted Kansas State team and a Iowa fukkin' State :beli:

Seeing as how Bama nearly fukks up against garbage teams once every year since at least 2011, your point is null. OSU ain't bottom tier though, and FSU is/was overrated. A middle tier is like Texas or Iowa State, and yes they could beat them.

One more thing, that's the dumbest thing people do when they try to make comparisons. I'll answer your question with a question: Arkansas remained competitive vs Auburn and Auburn beat Alabama, so could Arkansas be competitive against Alabama?

Kansas State depleted still equaled a top 5 Big 12 team, so.... that definitely fits my argument that they'd be middle tier
