What case does the AP have for putting Oregon above Alabama and not FSU?

a lot of pollsters stick to this rigid king of the mountain mentality where fsu will stay no.1 until they lose. personally id go with some combination of georgia/a&m/oregon/southern cal. not saying thats going to be the top 4 at the end of the season, but based on who they've played thats who i think deserves to be in the top 4. if you havent played anyone yet its harder to get a read on how good you really are.

its 2 games into the season. the better argument would be any poll this early is extremely flawed because youre either going off a limited sample size or youre going off of how good you think teams should be on paper.

Have no problem with Oregon jumping us in the AP Poll, cause it doesn't matter. Also, dont get the pride in saying (x number of teams in my conference are in the top 10). I only rep Alabama so why should I care?
