I think the first quarter is going to be key against UT for us. Actually the first few drives. I'm interested in seeing how our first few drives are being scripted. Do we try and establish the run against a UT defense that couldn't slow down Gurley or do we attempt to get #6 mentally settled with some quick and easy confidence building throws (do those exist in our playbook?)?

I do however expect to see Treon in the first half of a play or at least a series regardless of how #6 is performing.

@ChefDon @SubZeroDegrees thought y'all might find this encouraging

After holding 12th-ranked Georgia to 1-of-10 on third downs during Saturday's 35-32 loss in Athens, the Vols — led by second-year defensive coordinator John Jancek — are now ahead of Louisville, rival Alabama and everyone else in the national standings.
Tennessee has now allowed just 11 third-down converstions in 53 attempts. That's a 20.75 percent mark.
Here's the full top 10 of the current standings.
THIRD DOWN DEFENSE
1. Tennessee — 20.75 percent
2. Louisville — 21.33 percent
3. Alabama — 24.00 percent
4. TCU — 24.07 percent
5. Marshall — 25.40 percent
6. USC — 25.53 percent
7. Virginia Tech — 25.71 percent
8. Mississippi State — 25.76 percent
9. Kentucky — 26.32 percent
10. Wisconsin 26.42 percent

Can cancel ND v. Stanford. All paper tix, no electronic. Moving out my bldg tomorrow and fwd address is in ATL. No bueno

Miss St v. aTm got some great seats. Can get a ticket on the 20-25 yd line for $98 or pay $118 for right on the 40. Only bad thing is is a brotha driving to all these spots and I plan on getting outta DC o/a 2pm and that a 14 hr drive w/ a noon kickoff

Bama v. Ole Miss STARTS at $210 per ticket and that's just nosebleeds. I dunno know about this one brehs

On the advice of @malbaker86 skipping the UT v. UF game

May just hit Tech v. Miami. In ATL, guaranteed place to sleep and guaranteed free food and p*ssy. Nothing beats that

we have a pretty good slate of games this weekend for the first time in a while, and the time slots and networks they appear on is stupid to me.

This is what the tv schedule should look like for the relevant games.

Bama vs Ole Miss - new time 8:00pm ABC (why are they featuring a big ten snoozefest instead of the better game)
OU vs TCU- new time 6:30 FOX
LSU Vs Auburn - new time 3:30 CBS
Texas AM vs Miss St - new time 5:30 ESPN
Stanford vs ND - new time 7:00 NBC
Nebraska vs Sparty - new time 4:00 ABC (a much better slot for this game IMO)

Atleast the games are somewhat spaced out and gives you more time to click through these games. It's not perfect by any means

Anyone live in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area? If so, I'll give you a ticket to the UNC game. Seat two rows behind Va Tech bench and right on the 50
