We're talking relevance from a historical aspect. Tennessee was snatching nikkas up from California when most southern squads was keeping it local. fukkin up the Fulmer situation hurt them in the worst way.

Yes, Tenn's fanbase is extremely rabid and they travel really well. Good observation. But SC is pullin' dudes from throughout the southeast ... even O linemen from the northeast. SC is snatching up top QBs from NC. Tenn is not the recruiting juggernaut, top dog in the SEC East as they once were, although they still manage to get a gang of talent, they can't put it together... and GA, Fla and SC are right there with them.

True, but thats more of an issue of the quality of their current coaching team and regime than it is national relevance. I hear you though.

Don't think Ole Miss has ever done anything since I've been watching college ball. Ole Miss has been really feeling themselves since they started getting all these big time recruits. They play Alabama at home it'll be Coker's first road start. I think Alabama handles them, but this is their chance to make some serious noise.
