They beat them 46-27 :mjlol:

That is considered a blowout
Mich st outplayed them the 1st half and oregon outplayed them the second half. Again no doubt oregon won and looked damn impressive the second half of that game, but they havent gotten better since that game and mich st has

Oregon shot their wad that game dont forgot IFO made a sick INT on a MSU drive when they were getting ready to score. MSU offense never really recovered. Oregon got a cover the spread TD to push it to 3 scores on a 4th down sellout by MSU defense. It was more of a 10 point game than a 19 point game to be honest.

Did you watch the game?

bottom line, oregon is better than michigan state and beats them 8 out of 10 times

dont think michigan state has a better chance to win because arizona beat oregon. the pac12 is overall a much better conference and michigan state just doesnt have the athletes to compete

Former Alabama quarterback and injured Bengals backup AJ McCarron criticized his former coach Nick Saban and this year’s Alabama team in a radio appearance on Tuscaloosa’s Tide 99.1-FM earlier this week.

McCarron’s comments came after Alabama was shocked by Ole Miss over the weekend. On the radio show, he questioned Alabama’s playcalling, said the team’s offense can be “bland” and said this year’s team lacked leadership.

McCarron first talked about Alabama’s offense and its predictability. From AL.com:

“I don’t know if that’s [offensive coordinator] Lane [Kiffin] doing that or if coach Saban is kind of putting the handcuffs on Lane like I’ve known Coach to do in the past on his offensive coordinator and we’re going to be very bland and run this play and do this and we’ll throw it on third down if we have to,” McCarron told theTide 99.1 audience. “It’s going to be interesting to see how they bounce back against Arkansas this week and what kind of offense comes out this week.”

And also:

“I think one of the things that this team is lacking that hurts them the most is not having the true leaders like we had last year and guys that, when things go bad, ‘hey, let’s calm everybody down, pick it back up and go back to work and get back on the right track. I feel like when things go bad, this team struggles a little with bouncing back and making good plays.”

While he was at Alabama, McCarron was never one to undermine or question Saban, and if it ever appeared like he had, the team usually blamed a reporter for twisting his words around.

There is no twisting here. This is a direct transcript of a radio interview McCarron gave, one in which he says the Alabama offense can be bland (which, well, yeah it can) and that this year’s Alabama team lacks leadership.

That didn’t stop Katherine Webb from insisting that it was the press who twisted McCarron’s words around:

These are direct quotes above. Not sure how they are being twisted.

On Wednesday, Saban responded to the comments on his weekly teleconference.

“I don’t know how AJ would really know, but I don’t necessarily see that as the case,” Saban said, in reference to McCarron’s assertion that the team lacked leaders.

Fran Tarkenton
“Oh gosh, it’s AJ McCarron,” Tarkenton said on air. “Did he go to class? Did he make the league or not? He needs to be quiet. He was so fortunate to play in that program. He’s an average quarterback at best. He played fine, but he couldn’t have played anywhere else but Alabama.
“To make a comment like that is just disrespectful. He should keep his mouth shut and praise Saban and Alabama for the rest of his life.”

McCarron lowkey throwing shade at Blake Sims? :patrice:

Coach Saban is right, AJ is in Cincy, not at the University anymore, so he can't possibly know.
