His first half wasn't a complete disaster really, his receivers were dropping the passes he felt comfortable making and ended up having to throw balls that he doesn't really like and played into the KSU's DLine (slants directly over the middle)

But you are correct to an extent, Marshall and Auburn as a whole will just have lulls

Ya, there was some dropped balls in the first half. But there was some awful throws too. And just as many awful balls as bad drops(there was a a lot of bad drops to be fair). But second half Marshall was money, not to many bad balls for him.

You really have to be impressed with that double move(out and up) to finish the game. Great call by Gus, great pitch and catch by Marshall to Williams. One hell of play, love that call by Gus. That is a Chip Kelly balls play call..

ive been reading some scouting reports for the '15 draft, a lot of scouts seem to believe auburn has more talent on it's roster RIGHT NOW (especially on defense) than bama. i tend to agree, malzahn has been doing work the last few years and hit JC hard.

So which positions are advantage Auburn?

I don't know if the scout is right or not, but both teams will have guys in the league. I think what he was saying is Auburn might have more prospects on the D -side that have potential to make it. I don't know how true it is though, again. Alabama has great defensive talent and I can see Auburn has been stacking talent over the last few years. The D line will definitely have guys in the league in the next few years. If Trovon Reed keeps playing like he's playing he'll get a shot at CB in the league, because he has the hips to swivel and stay with receivers. Kris Frost, Cassanova McKinzy at linebacker will get a shot to try and make a team, with a few more behind them in the next few years. A few of the safetys will get shots. The D has definitely improved and gave up less than 200 yards rushing since that first half against Arkansas, which is 2 1/2 games ago.
