I would fire him now in order to secure the best replacement possible. They aren't going anywhere anyway.

I think Michigan's preferred replacements are Jim Harbaugh and Les Miles. If they can't get either one of those guys I think they would have to look at Dan Mullen or Kyle Willingham. Maybe even Greg Schiano.

What do you guys think?
I think they're shyt out of luck with Miles, considering he spurned them before and it's probably not worth leaving a top SEC program for UM. Harbaugh might be in play considering the friction between him and the 49ers, but I feel like he's an NFL guy now. He's reached the pinnacle of the profession, come up short of the ultimate goal, I don't think he'll jump back to college before even winning a SB. Granted I do think he might leave SF for another NFL team though.

Dan Mullen is an "eh" hire to me. Miss St. has been good, but not great. Especially against good competition. Tonight's beatdown aside. I think Whittingham would be dope but the past couple years at Utah :snoop:, Schiano is probably a last resort
