Well if ECU won the rest of their games and BYU went undefeated

ECU has beaten a ranked team and probably should've beaten a SEC school, so there's that. It'd be a tough argument and this CFP definitely is designed to give Independents a disadvantage. If SOS and better team matters, I think maybe ECU would be picked but it's pretty hard to argue against 12-0 as a FBS school
