Over the past year and a half Saban has become a lot more personable. he's doing TV commercials with humoristic tones, he's laughed more in interviews, and just been alot more open and human in public than he's ever been....and now he's lost 3 games in a matter months.

As opposed to like 09-12 when Bama was straight up dominant and he never appeared happy or showed any personality and pretty much kept the face even when winning titles.


Are any of the Bama fans saying Saban has gotten soft? I don't think he has, but I can see the argument being made.

You just can't sustain the high level of play that we had over the years

The 5 stars won't play like 5 stars every year

Our problem is the same as Last year. The secondary can't cover anyone.

This is the 1st year since Brodie that we don't have a game manager at QB

From a coaching standpoint missed field goals should be looked as turnovers especially long ones

He's just getting older, he's a grandpa now and I just feel that he's established himself in Tuscaloosa as a legend and feels at home as well.

In regards to this year, I think this is one of the youngest teams in the country, very inexperienced, no real seniors on the defense to mentor these young guys except for DePriest. This team is more 2010 than 2013.
