I read that too. But Chip & i believe Oregon wanted to keep a Offensive minded HC. But where they fukked up is that Helfrich isnt a tough coach. He is too soft & you see with the team. They are also very undisciplined. Then they just made shyt worse when they hired Don Pellum as DC. Was saying they need to go after Clancy Pendergrast.
