"And as the narrative of the 2014 season is built, it’s hard not to feel like FSU is increasingly playing without a safety net.

If the past two weeks have taught us anything, it’s that the season is still full of possibilities. Good teams lose, marginal teams take a big step forward, and the fates of so many will still shift again and again. But for Florida State, it certainly feels like the Seminoles will spend the season on the brink.

Ole Miss and Mississippi State are riding high, and that strength of narrative only serves to further the sales pitch to put two SEC teams into the playoff. As one-loss teams are considered, the SEC West certainly has the court of public opinion on its side.

Baylor coughed up 58 points to TCU on Saturday yet climbed in the polls. It was a triumphant comeback victory. But when FSU allowed 31 to Oklahoma State in Dallas to open the season, it was a sign the Seminoles were vulnerable. The narrative is strong."

What he said?

He pretty much told the media to fukk off about his handling of Winston. "There is no victim because there was no crime" Fisher said. He said the media needs to read the reports nothing has changed so why would he disclipine Winston? Told media to stop writing half truths referring to NY Times article that dropped. He said pretty much Winston knows he's good to go and that's why he can play the way he did on Saturday.

i'm confused

wheres all the Rich Rod love? i mean damn he's ready to play with the best right? Surely he wouldn't lose AT HOME to a VULNERABLE USC TEAM WITH TEN DAYS TO PREPARE right? He's a guru...and was definitely done wrong at his last job.

Arizona is ready to step up to the big show right? :ld:

We're an extremely talented team with a trash coach. That game could have gone either way

question....its time to retire hearing the Dak Prescott/Tebow/Cam comparisons. CBS, ESPN has worn that shiit out by now

It makes me wonder how shyt would have worked out if Mullen and MSU could've out bid Auburn for Cam's services in 2010. Mullen had some real dogs at QB before Dak took over. Relf could run but couldn't throw and Russell could throw but couldn't run.
