How can the number one team in the nation be a 10pt underdog? Has that ever happened in the regular season? I know OU was a double digit underdog vs FSU years ago in the national title game
that point spread is bullshyt...it's serving 2 purposes:
1. if miss st lose, the lost wont be held against them like that cause people gonna say they played at bama and 'look, bama was heavily favored anyway'
2.if miss st win, it's gonna be hyped as they overcame overwhelming odds to do so, even though bama hasn't looked that good except for the tam game...
....basically, it's all a setup to make the sec look good...i'm a fan of how the sec plays football, but damn, the slant in they favor is just ridiculous at this point...even the big 10 didn't get it this much when they were the media darlings....
