Kinda makes me sad to see grass going away.

I hate seeing clean jerseys at the end of a hard fought gaem

i don't get it either. Michigan stadium and notredame stadium even late in the year didn't have soldier-field-esque grass problems.

Lot of people were against it, but it had to happen. This is how the field looked during the spring game.

its likely they didn't take care of it because they knew they were going turf.

Probably but it always looks terrible late in the season and had to be replaced 4 times last year.

The OU/Baylor game in 2012 was damn near played on complete dirt. I'd never seen the grass that dead in Norman

its weird. I played on a grass field in HS and it was straight garbage at the end of the year...one of our foes had grass that was so high quality I swear when you put your hands in it, you couldn't find the dirt, the grass was so rich and deep. [for michigan heads, I'm referring to Muskegeon Reeth's Puffer]
