that, and 2006 was one of the biggest screwjobs i've ever seen. The rules just DONT APPLY for the sec...and btw, you guys are fooling yourselves if you think a system with 13 individuals deciding things will make it better. If South Carolina wins out watch them fools make it to the playoffs with that loss being ALL forgiven![]()
Nah I think they got it right in 06 no need for rematches involving teams from same conference. Florida had a sick SOS that year and deserved the trip. USC fukking kicking themselves for blowing an easy title win vs an OSU team they would've matched up well with.
01-Nebraska loses its final game by 26 doesn't win division
03- OU gets crushed by 28
11- Alabama loses at home 2nd in division over 1 loss Big 12 outright champ
00- FSU,Miami,Washington caught up in a SOS battle Miami beat FSU but Washington beat Miami
08 -Oklahoma going over Texas(who won by 10) USC,undefeated Utah
All those years were bullshyt when it came to who made the title games. 04 Auburn can complain but they just got the raw deal of starting lower in the polls than USC and OU.

to beat UCLA and for OSU to possibly somehow beat FSU tomorrow, the Big 12 needs quality wins(just in case OU is in a position to make the top 4).....unfortunately, FSU losing would be carte-blanche for the media to excuse 2 SEC teams making the playoff
. That Sugar Bowl win may have been Stoops biggest non Texas win since beating FSU for the title just for the sake of OU and the Big 12 not getting a blatant burial nationally.
moment. Off the top of my head tho, I cant remember, I dont recall another team having a super strong case to replace us and that's why the BCS committee let us slide.
