2014 - Reflections and Confessions

Reflection: Managed to move out of my mother's crib, got a new car/apartment, been working towards being an ESL instructor (currently tutoring), been working out consistently, began boxing again....

Confession: I got zero p*ssy and zero play this year. (I haven't gotten laid since I broke up with my "ex", and that was like late 2012. Then again, i have made zero attempts....

Dude, that's a hell of a grind. Good for you. Aren't boxing gyms expensive though?

HELL no! My gym is 40.00 a month, plus they just lengthened the hours, so it's 6 days of week rather than the usual 5. There are some with ridiculous pricing though... But usually it only starts to get expensive when you go to dojos/mma gyms, and that solely depends on which one you go to....

One of the best things in life is when you realize who you are and who you want to surround yourself with. A lot of us just go through the motions for years and find ourselves wasting time.

I think you'll find that you're probably at a big turning point.

Reflection - Went back to college. Thought I wouldn't do too good, since I've been one for almost 4 years, but I have a 3.5 GPA. And me and my man preparing to take the next step.

Confession - Had a period of depression since I turned 25. I thought I should've been further along in life(professionally and financially), but finally snapped out of it.I got a lot of the cliché "Its never too late" line. But I realized I'm 25 and not 55, I really DO have time to get to where I want to be. And I'm already halfway there. I'll be graduating next year.

Reflection: I learned a lot of lessons...learned to rely on me, myself, and I emotionally (well... I mastered that lesson)....

Confession: I realized that I have more fun worrying about only me...

Reflection:I had a LOT of wins this year, and the L's were small.

Confession: The wins were also small, so 2014 was a stand-still of a year.

Ahhh, see everything's fukking overpriced up there. I'm in Florida...I'm pretty sure there's a hole in the wall gym up there somewhere with sensible pricing. But I'm sure you can find something more sensible depending on how much you shop around....
