SSU coming for the Meac title
:sadcam::blessed::mjcry:

Man, Broadnax has had SSU on the cusp the past 5 years. Somehow he finds some 6'9 185lb center from Bumblefukk, GA who always contributes and a couple other guys who are solid. His teams just can never produce offensively.

I think its his style of coaching, because ATL has SO MANY cats who can score, but some how SSU can never land em, and dont really get a ton of ATL hoopers in general. Every time SSU plays big teams its always a solid defensive effort but they can't score what so ever and then the bigger teams always pull away. SSU always finds good PGs too. I think if SSU can find a 6'5/6'6 slasher they will be good to go, because they never have had a player who can create shots/take it to the whole and draw fouls.

The yr SSU made it to the NIT or whatever we should have been able to steal someone from G Tech or UGAs bench. It`s almost a no brainer when it comes to B Ball to go to a MEAC school if you aren't a definite NBA talent because 1.You play against the big teams so you can have a platform to show out. 2. IF you win your conference you can make it to the big dance. 3.Pretty much guaranteed to go overseas. 4.the Women are better.

Broadnax has continued to recruit HS'ers and I can't recall them having any notable transfers. I can see why he recruits the way he does, he played under a legend in John Thompson.

But for HBCUs to really succeed and defeat bigger schools on a regular basis they have to do like Coach Moton has done at NCCU. Recruit JUCOs more and leverage connections with BCS coaches to grab a transfer or two. We've seen it happen time and time again, you get that one dynamic transfer from a BCS school and you're competing for conference title. Hell Central grabbed a UGA bench guy before SSU :francis:

Had some clearance issues, I think he just enrolled this semester. Looks like he's repping TSU heavy on social media

As always, garbage ass school/team/city/campus:scust:

Real shyt though, my freshman year (08-09) at Central the team went 4-27. I remember nikkas chanting Detroit Lions when they were 0-16. Same year the Lions went 0-16:mjcry:
